I just adore these comparison pictures, seriously. They crack me up every time. Can't wait to get mine and go troll the Home Depot parking lot to park next to the biggest damn dually I can find.

You see pictures like this, then you sit in the Mav, it seems to defy physics! No way it should feel as roomy as it is!You just thought to yourself, that's what she said, be honest. I can't believe there are people out there who think the maverick is too big, it can't really get smaller. That's what she said.

I would buy a two-door Maverick with a larger cab and longer bedLotta stupid people hanging out on sites like Jalopnik and such who argue that "The maverick could be even smaller with a two door cab and a slightly longer bed". Yeah, but it wouldn't sell well. I assume some are being facetious, but others seem genuine.
I got mine on Tuesday, I am loving it, but yeah absolutely is too big. The idea this is called a "compact" is wild. I can't see a mortal sized car behind me and it dwarfs my s10.I’ve honestly never heard anyone say the maverick is still too big
"That's what she said" ?![]()
TBF, it's pretty awesome![]()
Of course the Maverick could be smaller. The F150 is just ridiculously huge. I honestly think the Maverick should be considered a midsize truck but Americans keep demanding bigger and bigger vehicles so there's nothing smaller. You just thought to yourself, that's what she said, be honest. This place around the corner from my work sells them https://www.japancar-fl.com/. One of our dealers bought one. Per his experience, air cooled and overheats at 50 mph![]()

Ford's T3 (The next gen lightning but called Thunder instead) apparently has a much lower front end. It's been described as a futuristic and radical looking '97-03 f-150 by insiders. So Ford might start to move away from this high grille trend. Expect GM and Ram to do what they always do and copy Ford if that's the case. The new batch of ("full size") pickups have ridiculously tall hoods for no reason- tons of empty space and worse pedestrian visibility just so they "look bigger".
And I drive a Miata to work every day it's not rainy out! Wife loves Mav so she drives it but I 'borrow' it when it's wet and she drives minivan...
On the EV's, they don't have to make 'em so big to meet CAFE requirements.Ford's T3 (The next gen lightning but called Thunder instead) apparently has a much lower front end. That' what She said! LOL I couldn't help it LOLSize of the Maverick is important; however, like a lot of things, it is performance that counts. So far, I am both pleased and satisfied with the performance of my Maverick!!![]()
