I wonder how much difference it makes which dealer it's through.
History & experience indicate dealer choice is quite significant in determining when you will get your Maverick. Despite Ford's false claims of abandoning allocation for the Maverick, it's pretty obvious this is NOT the case.

To make matters worse, dealers don't even know what their allocation will be month to month.

Ford seems unwilling (or way too slow to react?) to revamp their outdated allocation system, which was designed around large quantities of dealer stock units. The fact they continue this flawed system for customer orders is baffling and very frustrating.

Got this yesterday. Other than perhaps confirming my order has not completely fallen through the cracks, it tells me nothing I don't already know. Why does Ford have such a problem giving us details?

I just got the same email except for my XLT. Wondering if calling ford had anything to do with. Probably not. Once again no news.

Similar email today. Except it mentioned my build week of August 8 and vaguely noted delays without saying whether my order was delayed. (Been rescheduled 4 or 5 times now).

Just yesterday a CS phone rep said I had an estimated delivery date of 9/10 - 9/16.

Status today is still in production as of 8/11, and a lot of modules populated. Mobile WiFi is up in Ford Pass app as of two days ago.

Nobody knows nothing at FMC apparently.

My original built date was Aug 8th with no delivery date. Then got moved to Aug 15th with delivery of Aug 28th-sept 4th. Now with the production moving to week of Aug 22nd who knows when delivery will be. I agree FMC doesn’t know.

If there is truly nothing they want more than to deliver your truck, then I'm pretty sure they could make it happen within a few days.

Obviously untrue email is untrue.

Keep checking the order tracking page. Mine was supposed to be made late June, then August 8th, then the 25th, then the 22nd. I looked yesterday at the tracker and it says "in production" and I now have a window sticker. I ordered two months before you in October.
9am hey

The only thing I had that was a restraint was a full size spare so took it off my order. Everything else basic XLT FWD 2.0 eco so good for you being able to get all your options this year!
where did you hear full size spare is a restraint? i hadn't heard that. bums me out because i asked my dealer take everything off my order on august 8th, but i guess they left the hitch and the full size spare by mistake. dammit.

My dealership suggested I take it off my order because of how Ford kept adding restraints to orders. I went ahead and did it because I can get one just as easy after I receive my truck.

You have a build date, even though changed and you describe that as a dreaded email? I ordered September 18 and have no VIN, no build date and no hope… I wish I had the dreaded email you received.
Maybe keep notifying your dealership. Make sure they did all the correct paperwork.

Another concern of mine is by the time we get ours is the interest rates, how will they be?
We have been without a vehicle so long that I saved enough to pay cash for our Maverick .You don't realize how much money you spend with the convenience of ownership .We are lucky to have a decent public transportation system and uber works out in a pinch .If we need to wait another nine months will upgrade our order ,with all the money we are saving. .Right now we have an XL with a 4k tow package .No interest rate is the best ,but Ford will continue to offer loans because they make a lot of money off the loans.

I live in a small town that doesn’t have Uber or extra means of transportation so I’m glad that I didn’t sell my vehicle like I was going to before getting my truck anticipating it arriving sooner. The only plus is paying off my current vehicle more than it would have been if I would have gotten my truck sooner.
