History & experience indicate dealer choice is quite significant in determining when you will get your Maverick. Despite Ford's false claims of abandoning allocation for the Maverick, it's pretty obvious this is NOT the case.I wonder how much difference it makes which dealer it's through.
To make matters worse, dealers don't even know what their allocation will be month to month.
Ford seems unwilling (or way too slow to react?) to revamp their outdated allocation system, which was designed around large quantities of dealer stock units. The fact they continue this flawed system for customer orders is baffling and very frustrating.
