Best email from Ford

I placed my order for a Maverick XLT Hybrid with XLT premium package, Copilot 360, Moon roof and rear sliding window on August 25th. April 13th at 7:19 PM I got an email from Ford stating it was built and on April 15th I got another email from Ford stating that it has been shipped and should arrive around May 13 - 19th.
All I can say is hang in there the Mavericks are coming.

I thought it was strange that Ford included the SIBL with the luxury package. That should've been a stand-alone option, as it was a major constraint. I know many would've happily removed that option and had their dealership fulfill that option. I was not going to remove my luxury package, so I was willing to wait, but sadly some removed the luxury package in order to get their Mav sooner!

Yeah don't know why Ford made the SIBL and the remote start as part of the luxury package. I would have gladly dropped the SIBL, hell I could even have lived without the heated seats, but to get the remote start, I had to get the luxury package. I think Ford early on were allowing the SIBL to be switched to a drop in. Then they stopped that and said to remove the SIBL, you had to remove the whole Lux package. Makes no sense because now when you go on Fords website and build a maverick, it says that the SIBL is no longer part of the LUX pkg, only the DIBL. Makes little sense. But yeah I have the Lux pkg with SIBL so I know I will probably get pushed back at least a couple times, but I wanted what I wanted and wasn't going to start removing stuff just to get it a month or two sooner.
