Sun Visor Wire Harness

Does anyone know if the wire harness that feeds power to the lighted sun visors exists in all models? I saw a thread about using a Bronco Sport HomeLink visor (very $$$) on a higher end Maverick (Lariat?) and was mostly plug and play. Was wondering if that wire harness in more than just the upgraded options, which would make it an easy point to pull power for things on the window or ???

I did the mod. It just plugs in and the HomeLink works on the Bronco visor. It is a little wider so it's tight on the Maverick clip but it functions.

The 2020+ Escape visor actually fits better.

So I'm wondering if the harness exists in all models of Maverick. In other words does an XL, without lighted vanity mirror, have the harness already in the headliner? Probably not, since it would add costs to the base model. I guess you would have to pull the visor to see if the wires are up there or not.

I'd agree, if it doesn't have the lighted vanity mirror than probably not but it's easy to pull the visor and find out.

Honestly, it's easy to pop it off, the hardest part is prying the cover plate off.
