Has anyone found a compressor small enough to fit in that compartment in the bed? That’s strong enough to blow up a big size pool ring in less than 25 minutes?

A pool tube and a vehicle tire are 2 different usage scenarios. The pool tube requires high volume at low pressure, the vehicle tire needs to be able to generate more psi.

Which are you looking for? Is there a budget?

Probably more pool toys than tires although it would be nice to be able to do both. Budget is less important than size.

Under rear seat storage may be more realistic.

Love my Ryobi, extremely portable - your not tied down to the length of a 12V cord!! Works great for airing up tires, pool items, sporting goods items, etc. Used it for years, zero problems/complaints, extremely happy with it.

Ford Maverick Suitable 12 volt compressor for compartment in Maverick bed P6130006

Been using this LOLSSA inflator for bike and truck tires the past several years. I came with low pressure attachments but I've never ued them. The inflator and TackLife jump box went under our Maverick Tremor's back seat on our long road trip.

My experience has demonstrated that the compartment may not stay all that dry. I have found things in there at least damp either from condensation or external moisture. I would store a compressor in the cab somewhere.

Might want to review @protijy thread of Feb 10, 2026. He has permanently installed a compressor in the cubby and seems to have no dampness problems.

I can confirm this is a good one. I have the compressor, 120V charger & two 4 mAh batteries in a repurposed camera bag, that i currently keep in my rear under-seat storage in my '26 EB Lariat. Last winter my company truck had a leaky tire, and I used this same compressor until I could get our auto shop guys to replace the tire (2 or 3 times a week for 2 weeks, my fault, not theirs LOL). It took 5-10 minutes to go from 33 - 40 psi up to 65 psi with an average ambient outside temperature of -20°F. I like it so much, I'm getting a duplicate setup to keep in my wife's '27 XLT EB Maverick when it gets delivered this fall.

As far as my research goes. I couldn't find any combination units that offer both, high volume low pressure to fill large pool toys quickly & low volume high pressure for tires. That is small enough to fit into the sidewall cubby compartment.
Low pressure high volume
