Yeah well, most people don’t appreciate my humour. Heck my cat frequently just buries his head and puts his paws over my mouth. Explains why it is so dry at 4am when I get up.
I got it.
I was just playing along with another Canadian "sorry."

Ah Gotcha, see that’s genuinely funny to me. I should have caught that. I mean I grew up watching Red Greene. ;)

Do dealers get allocations from Ford for a Maverick Truck as a whole, regardless of what engine is ordered, or is there a separate allocation for an EB order and a separate allocation for a hybrid? I think that's what my dealer told me, I should have questioned him further. He also said that they're told that hybrids are still a hold up to the order. Anyone know the answer to this??
75% of orders are hybrids, but production capacity for hybrids is only 35% of total capacity so they're having more trouble catching up with hybrid orders than EcoBoost orders.

It's constrained unless part of lux package

that's good news - this is the first I am hearing that it's no longer a constraint. @fordvideoguy will definitely know as well

Spray-in Bedliner was never on the late availability list. It was an item that Ford Rep were told to tell their dealers that might have some issues if it was ordered as a standalone option because 70% of the orders had Spray-in Bedliners ordered on them.

Considering how it doesn't seem like very many with the sprayer actually getting pulled (outside of lux package), it feels like a constraint but I understand that it's not officially called so, thanks for the information

Not hard to figure out. When you're scheduling way more EcoBoost's then you are Hybrid's, you'll NEVER catch up. At some point they need to flip the switch and Schedule more Hybrid's then EcoBoost's.

We need the transmissions first.
Unclear if they’re up to speed or not at this point.

Understood. But I thought the transmission thread mentioned they produced more but the plant only REQUESTED 139. That was all I was saying. They were producing transmissions, but they aren't asking them to be sent to the assembly line. The way I read the thread.

The first month of production is all dealer stock orders and review/testing trucks. Most, if not all early dealer stock is Ecoboost so there isn't a huge demand from the factory for hybrid transmissions until mid September. They don't need the transmissions yet. And in the weeks since the 139 transmissions were requested, more could have been requested but we haven't heard more from the person who had that knowledge.

We saw a lot of hybrids get picked up last week in scheduling. I think we will see a lot more this week and I expect the tide to turn on the Ecoboost/hybrid scheduled order ratio pretty soon, if not this week. Ford didn't underestimate demand for the hybrid, they just ramped up production and deliveries at a later point.
