Yikes, if they just now took your DL, your order may have just now been accepted. Did you receive an email from Ford back when you originally thought the dealer ordered?

I'm holding just a small glimmer of hope that you are right about this. Orderd my XLT Hyprid (Alto Blue) on Monday (8/9) with no other options except a 110v converter in the back of the cab. He called me back on Thursday to ask for my drivers license. Perhaps Ford contacted him because they will be scheduling me this coming week?

She did say that included Build, Transport, Sitting around waiting to be transported and Delivery to the Dealership.

Still even then it seems like alot of time. But maybe im new to the ball game. Id of thought it wouldnt take more than 2 weeks to build it maybe another week to 2 at most to transport it to a dealer given how they wanna slap these things out like hot cakes at the rate of sales theyre getting. But again only time will tell really

Sorry if this has been covered, but can Tim, Zack, and/or anyone at Ford please give an approx availability for the stand-alone spray-in bed liner? Should I just cancel it or wait it out. My XLT Hybrid (un-lux) has very few options, but as of today my order (confirmed Jun 23-ord code 19) has not gone anywhere. Is the liner the only possible hold? Will stand-alone be this year or next? It"ll make a big difference whether to cancel or not, if I only knew. Should I go with dealer (Line X) option? I'm sure this may not mean much to some but it is topic 1 to me. Any info is appreciated.

Yeah, didn't believe her but that is what she spewed on the phone, no joke. All BS in my opinion. I truly believe that is part of the Information/Misinformation campaign Ford continues to spread. If they would not try to be so helpful and answer the questions and only provide facts maybe there wouldn't be so much confusion.

Case in point, I called because someone posted they got their VIN by calling Customer Service. So I called. She also told me THEY cannot provide the VIN that ONLY the Dealer can provide that. And then went on to tell me about the time to get the vehicle once it starts Build. I was pissed when she said she couldn't give me the VIN even if she had it.

Do dealers get allocations from Ford for a Maverick Truck as a whole, regardless of what engine is ordered, or is there a separate allocation for an EB order and a separate allocation for a hybrid? I think that's what my dealer told me, I should have questioned him further. He also said that they're told that hybrids are still a hold up to the order. Anyone know the answer to this??

It’s even more granular than that, it is x eco with Y trim allocation at the regional level.

Regarding ordering from a high volume dealer, I ordered June 12 from a very low volume dealer and got a build week of Oct 4. (Dealer has taken 4 Maverick orders). I read a detailed description of the Ford order process (can’t verify accuracy) which said high volume dealers get only limited priority. Otherwise the little guys would all go out of business.

So, a bit of news. According to the Ford Of Canada rep US vehicle scheduling and Canadian vehicle scheduling happen in different batches due to slight differences in manufacture (DRL's? Who knows.) So Canadian orders tend to get lumped in together AFTER American ones.

I think he is feeding you false info. Retail builds don't start until nine September. I think production starts next week, and slowly builds up until mid September, but that is for the mannequin stock orders for the dealers.
