6 weeks from when you get scheduled

If this is accurate which tbh does sound right for the most part. that would be fantastic! that means i only have 2 weeks left to go before I get scheduled. fingers crossed that is.

'Probably a naive question, but I'm gonna ask. Is there some estimated time from order to delivery, or is it too trim/accessories dependent? Or is it simply unknown?

FWIW, I just called Customer Service and the lady said 10 to 12 weeks from date of build start before I could expect to see it at the dealership.

For what it's worth, I called the 1-800 number today and one of the questions I asked was " what are the items that are causing delays today?". What the nice young lady told me was drop in Bed liner, bed dividers, the metallic red paint, and mud flaps. I specifically asked about spray in bed liner and the hybrid and she said no. Now I don't know what other people are being told ( might be different) but this was just a couple of hours ago.

The Line X liner carries a lifetime warranty vs factory applied 36 month.

Just be sure and choose a good Line-X installer. I have Line-X installed once and won’t again. They had videos claiming you could shovel product out of a bed with Line-X with no issues. First time I used a shovel, my liner had areas that peeled up clean down to the paint.
The Line-X dealer got defensive and rather than attempt to fix it, they then quoted how many new trucks they spray for local dealers with no issues. (implying I was the problem or was too rough on it)

Some have since said that they probably didn’t properly clean and prep my bed (being an older truck at time of spray), which resulted in failure to properly bond.

After that, I just had a local shop do a Gator-Liner spray-in on my new Ram back in 2012. That truck has been exposed to extreme weather all these years and the liner is still great. No Line-X for me. They don’t honor the warranty.

No clue. Sounded extreme but I just said okay. Not sure if she was blowing smoke or not.

I hope it was blowing smoke or as a "safe than sorry" type of deal where if it didnt get done in 4 weeks then someone gets yelled at for saying it would take that long. Because hot damn it better not be that long. I hope thats now how long ALL ford models take to build.

She did say that included Build, Transport, Sitting around waiting to be transported and Delivery to the Dealership.

Sorry if this has been covered, but can Tim, Zack, and/or anyone at Ford please give an approx availability for the stand-alone spray-in bed liner? Should I just cancel it or wait it out. My XLT Hybrid (un-lux) has very few options, but as of today my order (confirmed Jun 23-ord code 19) has not gone anywhere. Is the liner the only possible hold? Will stand-alone be this year or next? It"ll make a big difference whether to cancel or not, if I only knew. Should I go with dealer (Line X) option? I'm sure this may not mean much to some but it is topic 1 to me. Any info is appreciated.

Cancel it. I did and my build was scheduled the next day.

Do dealers get allocations from Ford for a Maverick Truck as a whole, regardless of what engine is ordered, or is there a separate allocation for an EB order and a separate allocation for a hybrid? I think that's what my dealer told me, I should have questioned him further. He also said that they're told that hybrids are still a hold up to the order. Anyone know the answer to this??

I ordered a 2.0 XLT FX4 with tow at the dealership the first day reservations opened up. I just heard back today from my sales guy Ford wouldn’t schedule without a copy of my drivers license, which I promptly sent him. Is this true and did my dealer screw this up? It is a small town dealership.

On the bright side, as penance, I made him change mine to Cactus Gray from Area 51. I think the lighter color will look better with the black wheels.

Seems that's going around. I got the email confirming my order back in June, but also got a call Thursday that mine was 'on hold' because they didn't have a copy of my ID. After getting them that, they called me an hour later to tell me the hold was removed and I will get an update on Monday.

I wonder if some were selected, but Ford put them in order limbo until all the checkboxes were complete on a checklist and this was a common one dealerships missed the memo on back in June. Now I wonder since I am hearing others are getting the same call. I doubt mine will actually get scheduled as it's a Hybrid FE in Rapid Red (one of the constraints), but at least all the boxes appear checked now.

As for Time to delivery, my 2020 Escape was a frightening lightning delivery. I ordered it in October, but it went through its constraints so it took forever to get scheduled. Once it went into production to when I had it in the driveway was just over 3 weeks (12/3 to 12/26 - 23 days), but it also was a different time back then when things weren't so challenging.

My dealership never asked for DL or any proof of anything really I never even set foot in the dealership it was all over the phone without any deposit as well. My priority has always been a 10 ever since 6/9 and I have no build as of yet im starting to wonder if maybe I have a hold and they haven't noticed yet. On that same token I have called Ford every week that they schedule to double check and thats never been mentioned to me?
