I have a 22 Lariat with 35,800mi. So close to the B to B warranty being out. I had it at the dealer for the shaking issue as well. It was really bad. They replaced one axle and it's better now, but it's not completely gone either. I'm waiting for a response. I have to take it back in for a complete replacement of the power inverter since that has never worked in the years I've owned the truck. The first time they tried to fix it they messed up and replaced something to do with the USB power and then told me it was fixed, but the issue was the inverter. I wish I had gone to another dealership at this point, but I'm committed now since I'm so close to rolling over the full warranty. I know the axles will still be covered, but there are no questions asked and it's just easier if you get things done before 36k miles. I also had the EVAP system messed up and replaced as well as all the recalls. I never had so many issues with the VW cars I've owned. Pretty bummed on Ford now.

Makes every one of us hybrid owners wonder what’s in our futures. And will major problems rear their ugly heads before the warranties runs out.
Best of luck to you, Aaron.

Thank you for chiming in. if you can keep me updated that would be much appreciated. I just dropped mine off at the dealer today. I told them it wobbles a little when driving slowly and with no load on the engine, and at 50% Power and around 45-60 mpg they will defiantly feel it as they accelerate and I also quoted you by saying shacks like a washing machine, because that is exactly what it feels like. Hopefully all that shaking didn't damage or put extra wear on the transmission or anything else.

Bummer that is a very pronounced shake!

Hello fellow Maverick owner's, this is my first post. My Maverick has started to shake while accelerating if I put it in sport mode or tow/haul mode it's a bit worse going up a slight grade its shakes even at really low speed, say I'm going 50mph and I put my foot into it, the Maverick will shake really bad like if the tires are about to fall off. I just left the dealer with an appointment on the 7th of June for a diagnosis and the air bag recall. I'm desperate and worried they won't be able to fix it. and I've read of other people on this forum are having the same problem, but they don't post after they take it in for repair. ANY help, advise or answers would be great. Thanks, I really appreciate it. I just had it serviced while I made the appointment and the problem was there before and after, so it's not the tires or wheels out of balance.

I experienced a similar issue with my Lariat 2WD with only 16k miles, and no lift kit. Initially, I had some software problems that were resolved with an update. These included issues with the driving lights, settings not saving, and commands through the app not working.
However, I still had a problem with shaking, which I thought might be related to wheel balance or rotation. Costco confirmed that the balance was fine, but there was some minor wear on the inside tire, so I had it aligned.
When I took it to the dealer, they performed a software update, which fixed the settings issues. But they also told me that the shaking was due to the axles and kept my car for a week, even though it was supposed to be a quick check to order parts. Interestingly, the report they provided mentioned changing only one axle, even though the shaking persisted, especially during acceleration between 40 and 60 mph.
Now, they want me to come in for a test drive with their representative and technician, but I'm hesitant to deal with dealerships again. It's inconvenient, and their loaner waitlist is two months long.

Latest on my shaking/CV axle problem. Finally got the second CV axle fixed (they refused to do both at the same time) and the truck has run perfectly smooth during acceleration. I asked the repair rep at the dealership if all they do is put in the same series of CV axles so that this problem will return again soon and he just shrugged his shoulders (cue my rolling eyes). At least it runs smoothly.

CV axles....its posted here so many times that its 100% that.

Junk parts.
I took mine to the dealership today and they had to replace both cv axles and do another 4 recalls. Hopefully it lasts longer than 23k miles moving forward. Seems crazy so many are having these issues. Ford - just give us better cv axles so it doesn’t keep happening.

I have a 2022 with 28,000 miles on it. The shudder has been there the entire time I've owned it, but I didn't think much of it because it was a brand new vehicle. Then my friend said something after driving it recently so I looked it over and noticed that the clamp was off the front passenger side cv boot and everything was covered in grease. Just got the truck back from the dealership, with a new axle installed, and the wobble is still there...

Did they replace one or both? Good chance both went if they only did one.

Hi there! If you'd like to, go ahead and send us a private message with your VIN and dealer info and I’ll look into this shudder concern. Thanks!

I also have a 22 hybrid first edition with 26 thousand miles. Took it in to the dealership a an it’s both cv joints/ half shafts. Is this a recurring thing? I’ve seen where ppl had them swapped out several times in the forums. Are the new parts engineered better?

They are still using the same part number as day one, no changes.

Does anyone know if the failures are internal or all stem from failed boots, leading to grease loss...with eventual shaking etc symptoms ?
