Can you use the same procedure to disable the chime on the passenger seats?
Yes, but you need two people to disable each individual seating position.

I only care about disabling the driver's seat chime. I always wear my seat belt on public roads and insist passengers do the same. But my mailbox is on private land, down a long steep hill, then up another steep hill. I do not wear the seatbelt when going to check the mail, so being able to get rid of this gawdawful annoyance is one of the best features of this truck. Now, if I could just get rid of the popup seatbelt nag box w/o having to hit OK every time.

Would love to see the video of this. I’ve tried with these adjustments and still can’t get rid of the chime.

Just got mine to work, 2023 Hybrid. Followed the steps mentioned in another post:
Set E-brake
Turn on vehicle (not engine) - note: I actually did turn on my vehicle by accident and it still worked.
wait like 2-5 seconds.
Slowly connect and disconnect the seat belt watching that the seat belt light turns on and off.
Slowly continue this process until the seat belt light begins to flash.

You definitely need to watch the seatbelt picture and coordinate your buckling/unbuckling to that diagram.
‘24 XLT Tremor here, made a Facebook post and the above is what I found out and EXACTLY what makes it work, the first time.

Also, immediately following, the auto-start/stop stopped working 30% of the time. I found that super curious.

I reported above tried the 3 instructions listed above. Did not see any flashing belt symbol at the end. Gave up.

But as I normally do, unbuckle when turn onto my street, and surprised…no chiming!

So far seen mentioned are 2022 year. Guess would do same for 2023 year models?

theOP mentioned manual. I have to dud out, see if can find procedure, if any, in my manual.
For what it’s worth I have a 24’ lariat. I mentioned the factory manual method but I only mentioned it to say it didn’t work and it only worked using the modified method described in the post

On my '24 Lariat none of the processes mentioned in this thread worked! I tried every combination of brake on/off, and wait time vs just watching the lights. Never saw flashing light at the end. Stupid warning message is still there.

Does not work on my 24 XLT: tried it about a dozen times but the seat belt lamp never flashed.
*sigh*

UPDATE: the owner's manual specifies that the truck is running, the parking brake is set and all doors are closed.

I'll play with it again tomorrow.

This thread was to disable to chime - we haven't found ANY way to remove the stupid pop up screen. However, plugging/buckling all the rear seats will make it disappear quickly to no longer be noticeable (I'm unsure if it even pops up with the rears all buckled with plugs I bought)

I would turn on the engine, set parking brake, turn off engine…wait…then turn back on and start the buckle/unbuckle process. It’s really about timing unfortunately.

I’ve tried disabling using the factory manual method probably 100 times with no success. I have a 24 lariat and had the same problem as many others where I would turn on the ignition but the red seatbelt would not turn off no matter how long I waitedI finally got it to work and here’s how.

I followed the process from the manual with these adjustments:

1: Don’t engage parking brake.
2: Don’t wait a minute for the red seatbelt light to turn off. Only wait to see the annoying seatbelt reminder on the center screen pop up which only takes a second or two and immediately buckle. Wait to see the pop up with the green driver’s seat. Once you see the green seat you’re clear to unbuckle. Wait to see the pop up with the red seat and repeat 3 more times for a TOTAL OF 4 BUCKLING CYCLES. The manual says 3 but 4 is what worked for me. After 4 total cycles you’ll see the red seatbelt light in the speedometer blink 3 times. That’s your indication that it worked. There’s no extra buckle cycle after the initial set like the manual says there is.

As a reminder, this WILL NOT get rid of the annoying pop up message, but it will disable the chime when you’re unbuckled.

If you want me to make a video showing exactly how I did it let me know and I’ll upload something to YouTube.
very nice writeup, that chime is SO annoying!

At last a method that worked for my 24 Hybrid. Thanks TBD!
