  1. Truck? Nah. You're likely to get run over in road rage by an F250 if you call the Maverick a truck.
  2. Cute Ute? Only if you live Down Under.
  3. Trucklet? Maybe. Except that it sounds like chewing gum.
  4. Sport Activity Vehicle? No thank you. It sounds like a socially-transmitted disease.
  5. Chick Truck? Nope. The phrase "Chick Car" is already permanently associated with 1966 Mustangs and any generation of Miata.

HOBBIT TRUCK! Yup, that's the Maverick. I have now officially categorized the Maverick.

Now, if only my Hobbit Truck would get scheduled. I called Ford today and was handed a big fat nothing burger for the 9th month running, with the earliest realistic ETA now around October.

Hobbit Truck sounds good. I am thinking maybe we could call it the Bobbitt Truck because it looks like something has been cut off the bed compared to a F150........ Actually, that is kind of painful to even think about, so NO.

I am hoping to have mine before the MY22 "cut off" date
