Not sure what you mean by Job 1. The only one with fog lights is the Lobo and none of them have a rear defogger.
I suspect that was a reference to Ford's old slogan, "Quality is Job One."

LOL Ford was pretty much forced to drop that slogan since it never panned out.

That's a nice snow broom.
When I lived in the Upper Midwest well before the time of Amazon.
We would get so much snow. I would use a regular garage broom to push the snow off the cars.
The very cold light fluffy snow works great to clean the garage floor. It works just like sweeping compound on a concrete floor
I don't know about the concrete. I still have a soft bristol floor broom in the pole barn just for snow. I use a 730 cfm Ryobi leaf blower now and so far. It can create a slight blizzard scenario at times because of the direction of wind or depth of snow. Just a whole lot quicker, easier and less chance of scratching. Besides getting sides and mirrors without using the small brush scraper at all. It works pretty good. Doubt if it will work if the snow is to wet. Being in Northern Michigan it's a rarity.

Hopefully they have them figured out by now. I ended up turning my rear defroster off in my F150 because the heating element was heating up too fast and shattering windows in really cold temps and I never wanted to take that chance after seeing more and more posts about it.
I was the same way with my f150. Better safe than sorry.

I don't think fog lights and rear window defrosters are classified as safety features LOL.
🤔 **Maybe we need to get a petition going to add those as mandated safety features.🤣

**Just kidding

The fun part is when your Maverick is an outside vehicle and you get hit with an ice storm, then the remote start feature doesn't work. Even after driving it an extra hundred miles the day before so the battery would be all charged up.

Now that we are experiencing a real winter in Ohio, I've noticed my rear window fogging up and the outside having snow build up. (The tonneau cover probably doesn't help) A rear window defogger would be nice. What I'm hoping will help is installing these Mabett heater vent extensions.

Wait, Mavericks do not have a rear window defogger? I have a Lariat delivery in 25 days. If it does not have a defogger it's staying at the dealership. That is really cheap on Ford's part in my opinion. I'm going to check the Lariat specs. A lack of a defogger is a safety issue.

In most places that I'm aware of the cops will charge you for not clearing your vehicle off. Aside from the inability to see properly, its a safety issue for the people behind you as you break their windshield with chunks of snow blowing off.

Everyone always laments the fact that the Maverick doesn't have this or that.
If it had all that stuff I would not have got mine for $24,800.
I did not want a $40,000 vehicle.
I can wipe snow off my rear window, I don't see the need for heater vents in the rear, or more crazy "duel climate controls" so that your passenger (sitting 1 foot away from you) can set theirs to 70 and you can set yours to 72.
Hell I would have been fine with roll-up windows if it saved me $100.
This truck has morphed into something I wouldn't buy today.

I had fogging a couple of times before I put my mav up for the winter. Turning up the fan and aiming the center vents up to get air to reach the rear window worked in a few seconds.
