Have you looked into campers made for motorcycles to pull? They can be surprisingly spacious. They have lighweight, but waterproof tent materials. sometimes under bed storage, and offer zip-on rooms. For a bathroom use a pop-up stand alone shelter and a portable shower and sink.
I had my oil changed by a local shop yesterday, after my local dealership could not find my warranties, and three(3) free oil/rotation/general checkups I was told I had. The dealership is up to $149.00 per hour, and I was told it would be two(2) hours, plus they listed semi-synthetic oil. So, I...
I paid for mine in total the day I picked it up. My wife and I owe nothing except monthly pays.
At seventy-three I like to stay busy too, but do appreciate some naps, movie and sports time on TV.
I wish you well with that,........but my best man has had two years of problems with his Ranger. Since he doesn't need the extra weight cabilities of the Ranger, he is considering going back to a Honda Ridgeline, of which, he has had four since their introduction.

2024 XLT Hybrid. Starting third year of ownership early June. Just under 5K miles; avg 40.8 mpg. Garage kept and winter stored on battery minder. It is only driven from May though October. Mostly a fun vehicle. I have not hauled much.
I recommend a battery booster. I keep one in each of my vehicles including my motorcycles, Modern batteries give little to no warning of impending failure. I did not buy a NOCO. Overpriced, due to their advertising.
I bought a Pigenus Sunshade for my 2024 Honda HR-V from Amazon. It has four layers, as opposed to one or two on competitors shades. It keeps the heat from transferring through the shade. The best part; it keeps the dark dash and steering wheel from getting hot.
I don't really need one in Ohio...
I will go back to NWOH soon to a 24 XLT hybrid, with a full tank of treated gas. That should last me 4-6 weeks of mixed driving. I would expect gasoline prices to drop back considerably by then.
I have relied on Turtle wax products for most of my automobile ownership life.
They always have had easy, or relatively easy, to apply products'
Their ice products have served me well, and like I that I can apply a decent shine and protection in less than a half hour.
Recently, I bought their...
My college girlfriend had a 1973 yellow Mercury Comet(Mercury's Maverick) with a brown leather texture roof and a 302 auto. I hope your wife loves hers as much as my lady did.
