I've been waffling on a hard tri-fold versus roll-up but I think this video and the comments sells it for me. I'd rather have the added deterrent a hard cover provides, even if it means taking the extra few mins to remove the cover for the 5% of the time I need the whole bed.

Can you tell me why you like this particular roll up tunnel top over anything else or is it just what you got from the dealer?

Rolls up and doesn't block seeing out through rear view mirror. Solid surface and locks in place for security.

I had an Extang Trifecta soft trifold on a 2007 Toyota Tundra for 8 or 9 years.
I managed to put one hole in it towards the end but it never leaked up until that point.

After reading all the reviews on Rough Country's soft trifold I bought one.
Haven't had it long enough yet to know how it will work out.

I wanted a hard trifold but money was a bit tight after buying the truck....

I have a hard roll up. I checked out the demos at a local dealer. And I bought the backflip X4S I like that it doesn't block the rear window. It is easy to remove if needed but I haven't had to do that and I think it would be very rare situation. I will probably add an Elevate or equivalent rack, so I like that I can do that with this. Cover.

I didn't want soft cover for security reasons but thought the hard roll up was better than trifold for my needs. I did consider a retractable but that space you give up at the front was the deal breaker for me. Plus it is not as easy to remove.

I've had soft covers on past pickus, but decided to try an Amazon hard tri-fold that was on sale-

I like how it looks, and how quiet it is, with no flapping...

I usually drive around with an empty bed, so really didn't need the top of the line.

I do really appreciate the cover though, especially when dealing with a cross wind, and big rigs on the freeway.

It made my truck much more stable...

Yes, I really did have all 3. But I gave the soft tri-fold to the owner of the orange Maverick. So I am down to 2. Haha

I have a gator sfx soft trifold, it’s been on for nearly two years. It’s been amazing and holds up well in the California sun. Don’t really use anything other than chemical guys soap to wash and it still looks new.

For what its worth, I have the hardtop trifold on my 2022 maverick truck. I ordered it so it was factory installed . where the rubber folds it is all cracking now so i took it to the dealership. They told me they’re going to replace it and this was not the first one that had that issue . They also said even though it was a factory installed item it was a third-party manufacturer. He didn’t mention who , but that they had to go through Them So they took pictures of it and it took about three weeks. They finally called and were given the approval to replace it.
