    It takes years to build a car manufacturing plant and you need people to work in the plant. It's stupid to think "we will just build the car in the US". It will be cheap to eat any tariff that may be applied than to build new plants and hire US union workers.

    I am 58, my 2012 Focus had headed seats but I do like having the heated steering wheel. Ford has the hottest seats of any car I have been in.

    Every job that comes back to the US means an increase in cost. If cars and car parts could be made cheaper in the US they would be. Tariffs will do 1 of 2 things, increase the wages paid in Mexico or bring jobs to the US, either way the cost of a car goes up.
