Anyone that has the push button start do you find the location annoying or hit it with your knee? My current xlt does not have one but my 25 will. My knee is close and sometimes bumps the usb ports. Does the push button start stick out even farther than the USB ports?

Never an issue with me, but the '25 might be in a different location due to the new screen layout. FYI, the location of the USB ports is different on the Lariat. Mine are almost all the way on the left of the console and even the passenger knees don't seem to affect them. The push button is also slightly recessed. I don't see how a knee would affect it.
EDIT: Actually, looking at some videos of the '25, the start and usb ports seem to be close if not identical to my '23. That said, I don't think it would be an issue. The button doesn't stick out at all. I think you would have to be wearing spiked knee pads for it to be an issue.

Location is fine, and I put a Captain America Shield cover on mine for looks. Even when flipped up or open, knee isn't even close.

I can't imagine how a knee makes contact with the USB ports.
You must be long and lanky.

How can you hit it with your knee? It's recessed. I'm 6' 3" with long legs and my knees go nowhere near there. As for annoying, you press it once when you get in and once when you get out. How hard is that?

I'm 6'1 230lbs but my comfortable driving position puts my knee basically almost touching the USB ports. I like the Rangers location of the push button start. It's the same location the key would usually go.

Never an issue. As you have probably already read it's recessed far enough to avoid any accidental engagement. You'll be fine and wonder how you got along without it.

Yeah but you probably keep your feet on the floor 😉

It's definitely in an odd spot but at 6'1 I haven't had an issue with where it will be located (my Tremor had the key as well).

I did however blast my knee numerous times on the headlight knob and where the trailer brake is going to be (I like to be a bit closer than most 6'1 drivers).

The placement of the ignition button isn't an issue once you discover the placement of the seat adjustment buttons.

I like the wheel close enough to hold at 9 and 3 with a lot of bend in my arms, but my elbows don't rest on my ribs - so not close like a go kart.

however, my steering wheel telescopes. is that not the case on XLT and XL trims?

I pull it out as far as it goes, then get a comfy arm position, then live with however close my legs are. Maybe minor adjustment to seat distance.

Yeah the wheel telescopes on the XLT and XL. I have my wheel extended as far as it goes. I guess I have short arms...

Possibly short, or just normal.

I am 6'0" but I have a 6'5" wingspan / boxing reach, or +5 ape index. My 17 year-old son is a lot closer to normal as he's 6'3" with 6'4" wingspan.

at any rate, the only time I've hit my knee anywhere near the push button is after my wife drives. then I curse like Tommy Callahan when he tries to get out of the GTX with his seatbelt on.
