Appears some sort of contamination.

You may want to get a sample and have it checked out independently while at the dealer being looked at.

Coolant certainly can make oil look like that.

Indicates water or coolant. What does the dipstick look like?

Is that a little puddle of green coolant on the bottom of the neck lip?

Probably just condensation. Water will accumulate in the oil if the engine hasn't warmed sufficiently. Do you only take short trips?

By the consistency that appears to be more than condensation. Also appears to be green (coolant) at the 6’oclock position in the filler neck. A picture of the dipstick would help. Good luck OP...

When I was stationed at FT. Lewis WA we went to the motor pool several times a week just to strat up the trucks and let them run 2-3 hours to keep the condensation down...It's normal in humid places and short runs....

I agree with the stated observations. A third culprit could be that it was over filled with oil. Hopefully this condensation and not coolant. Do you drive a fair bit and long distance?

Yep, for what it is worth, I have seen this first hand. You see it now and then on car lots. It could be a problem, but a mechanic told me, it may be condensation from constant short trips.
I bought a truck that had this, from a used car lot, and that was over 12,000 miles and 2 years ago, with no problems. It disappeared on my truck after a longer hot drive.

FYI.
Someone on this forum told me Ford puts a green dye in the oil, to check for leaks at the factory.
I cannot verify this but seems to be a common practice.

Agree with other posters, condensation. It gets to that milky gray/greenish tint. I have had many Fords, and many different engine sizes, and condensate appears under the fill cap on many of them. I try to get on the highway and put some miles on, as most of my driving is short trips. ( edited response---I will say I have never owned a hybrid engine which it appears by your pictures thats what you have, so I can side with Fakecowboys' recommendation of marking your coolant level and tracking it. Just in case it is something more serious)

It does seem to be excessive even for condensation but it really depends on your driving habits, if you take a ton of short trips this could definitely be just condensation. I would keep an eye on your coolant levels when the engine is completely cold. Maybe use a marking pen that is removable to mark cold coolant levels and keep track or just bring it to your dealer but honestly, I wouldn't rely on them, they're probably just going to say "it's normal" and kick it back to you because they're lazy and that's what they do.

The coolant is yellow not green first time I have seen that color
But the coolant level is near the add line, I do make short trips and just 205 miles on it so far

My forklift gets this on the oil fill cap all the time, it gets used once a week for about 20 minutes, it never really get hot enough. I would keep an eye on both coolant & oil levels for a while, if nothing for a piece of mind, as long as the oil on the dipstick doesn't look like this too, that would indicate a problem.
