This.

F150 did the same crazy dance, limp mode / gages dancing crazy / weird warnings etc. Didn't record a single code when it did this crazy, came down to a couple loose grounds and a weak (but still working) battery. Some of these car computers are real sensitive to voltage.

That would definitely do it, my other guess would be over the air updates if Ford even does that?

Well it happened again. Drove about 1/4 mile thus morning and all warning lights came on my dash. I now have 2k on the odometer and this happened the first time at 400 miles. My wife and I are visiting family in Clearwater, Fl. Called the service dept at Walker Ford and Don Mast the Service Advisor told me to come right over. His tech scanned for codes and said the issue could be a wiring problem and if it comes on again I should go to my local dealer for a more in depth analysis. So far the lights have stayed off and I was assured I could drive the car safely. If he happened again, he suggested I shut down the car and restart the vehicle. He explained there is a network with all the modules and they are all connected and I would have to leave the vehicle for a few days to delve further into the problem. Since we are headed home in the morning, I will go to a dealer closer to home.
Walker Ford was great and I wanted to give kudos for looking at my vehicle so quickly!

I had similar and got a drivetrain malfunction message. Also other little glitches. Resolved after a restart.

On a brand new vehicle? Piss poor quality control. They are pumping these out too fast and this is the result. Let's hope these issues stay isolated incidents.

What constitutes “high speed?” I’m assuming driving around 75-80 should be fine, right?
I made a break in thread and no one has said what they consider “high speed”. I need to drive it home on a 75MPH highway so hopefully that is fine. I would avoid cruise control (change your speed a bit), and go easy on the RPMs.

Others have said “drive it like you stole it”. If I stole a car I would drive it cautiously to not get pulled over. That probably isn’t what they meant.

Hopefully, it is just this.....

I seriously doubt it. Computers and electronics don't require a "break-in" period. After all... They literally run on "Ones and Zeros". They are either on or off. This break-in period, which I'm following b.t.w. is for the engine and transmission and other mechanical components.

Chiming in to say I just got this same error code on my Hybrid. 1 month old 1400 miles. Garage kept and used for commuting on paved roads.

Wrench popped up on the dash when I turned it on this afternoon. I had already driven it in the morning with no issues.

I wanted to ask if you had the same problem again or if you took it in and they found the problem. A couple weeks ago the dash went all crazy and then one day the car just wouldn't start. Left it sitting for a week and only then did it turn on. I has now been at the dealership for a week and they have not found anything.

That is why my Hybrid's 12V battery got a overnight charge with a 2 amp charger that after I went to bed, finally went into float mode. Noticeable benefit was the dash display and screen seemed brighter and crisper. Can't hurt IMO. YMMV
