Previous vehicle before your Maverick?

'98 jeep wrangler TJ, CJ8 top over front seats only, HUMVEE seats and tailgate hinged at the bottom (could haul 4 x 8 plywood on edge). Heater didn't work for past 5 years (Wisconsin), doors off in summer. Wife said that I needed a newer vehicle. Thought I would miss stick shift but I like my hybrid. The bed seems huge compared to my Wrangler.

2012 Chevy Colorado with 132,000 miles. It has been a fantastic truck and I have spent very little on repairs. I am getting nervous about it, though. Have never kept a vehicle this long and with this many miles. Can not wait for my Maverick hybrid to arrive. Spending $400 a month for gas for just commuting is killing me.

2005 Toyota Matrix, 195k miles I wanted to sell ot before 200k, I figured I might get a little more out 9f it. I just got the TX title so now it's time to clean it up and get it gone. However, I to miss the manual transmission . That is pretty much the only thing I wish my Mav had.

2017 Toyota Corolla SE. I'm literally the guy Ford marketing was looking at when they started marketing this truck. We traded in my wife's old worn out Solara and now she drives the Corolla. I drove that Corolla for almost 5 years and it only took 2 weeks in the Maverick to realize I hated that car.

My maverick has the utility of all three of those, more efficient by a solid margin, and more tech. Its also the only one I bought brand new. Is it built as refined as the others? no, but it does everything else better.

Im the truck guy that got tired of 150$ fillups every two weeks and realized i can haul my dirtbikes and MTBs in smaller vehicles, much happier for it these days too. being 6'6" I can attest that a maverick can fit the biggest of us pretty damn well.

BTW how much is gas in Maui ?

I love Ohio but Maui is the best home I've ever found. Even if more money than I ever made in Ohio barely keeps me above poverty here.

Gas is a bit above $5 at costco, everywhere else is for suckers and is always about $1 more unless you buy a ton of groceries at Safeway and get discounts. Its usually about $1 or so more than Ohio but lately it hasnt jumped here as bad as the mainland.

I drove a 2012 Ford Focus with the horrible shuddering transmission. It was fully loaded, but wasn't worth the unreliability. I thought I wouldn't get a Ford again, but the Mav is a perfect replacement. Similar size in the cabin, better gas mileage, and a truck bed. I know more on ordering one as soon as I learned about it and have been driving it nearly four months now. Don't really miss the sunroof and heated seats.

2008 Toyota Mayrix. Loved that little hatchback. Would have bought another but Toyota stopped making them. Ranger is too big. Maverick looks perfect size wise. Now if only I could get it from the rail yard to the dealership.

Currently driving a 2007 Vibe ( my daughters old car) while I wait for my XL Hybrid to arrive. The Vibe/Matrix twins are fantastic little cars. Corolla drivetrain matched with an incredibly useful wagon body. I love the passenger front seats ability to fold flat. I’ve moved 2 kids in and out of college dorms numerous times. Great car

04 f150 5.4 v8 128k . sold 2 years ago for $7500 . no need to tow large trailers . don't miss it . 10 mpg city . 18 mpg highway down hill with wind pushing from behind .
Maverick I am currently getting 24 mpg city driving the speed limit .

01 Ranger with Mazda lipstick 4x4 is what we intended to replace, but we just put a Hurst in it and new tires on it this year, may end up keeping it to bash around the old logging roads in the Cascades.
