I see many posts on this forum that mention problems with Mav Hybrids like "Deep Sleep", axle problems, grabby brakes, etc. Are these the exception or the norm?

I'd like to know how many people on this forum have had NO problems with their Mav Hybrids.

Please comment only if yours is a Hybrid, with NO problems and please include:
1) Model Year
2) Month/Year of delivery
2) # of problem free miles

My Hybrid Lariat, MY24 (23 rollover) is in production now (Oct 26, 2023) and I hope to have it soon. I'm optimistic that my Maverick will be problem free for many years and miles.
2022 Hybrid, XLT with Lux and Co-Pilot 360. Picked it up Feb of 23, almost 30,000 miles. Had the grabby brake TSB done, mostly fixed the problem. I did have a leaky rear window that was fixed and a new Headliner installed. But other than that no other problems. Love my truck. I don't plan on getting the other recalls done, like someone else commented why mess with something that isn't really broke. No check engine lights, no front end wobble, nothing.

Slightly off topic but hybrid adjacent: My roll over 23-->24 hybrid Lariat shows built and being shipped. I have the window sticker. Lariat Equipment Group A pricing shows a deduction of " - $720". I don't understand why. Is this in addition to the $2750 credit for the transition of my '23 order to a '24 build?
For 2024, Maverick is EcoBoost standard, Hybrid is a $1,500 up-charge. However, Lariat adds to that by making AWD standard, for a mandatory $2,220 up-charge. When you switch a Lariat to Hybrid, they take off the AWD charge (there is no Maverick Hybrid AWD, it's FWD only) and add on the Hybrid charge.

$2,220 AWD - $1,500 Hybrid == $720 price reduction.

I almost feel like there's no point in posting, but then I remembered when my parents bought their first new car in the 80s (Chrysler LeBaron), they had issues the day after they drove it off the lot.

Now that it's Nov 1, I can say I got my hybrid XLT "last month." No issues so far...but I'm still on the tank of gas from the dealer, and just 300 miles. Way too early to have much of an opinion on reliability, but no issues I've found so far. I'm still in the stage of looking for excuses to drive it - it's a blast!

3,100 enjoyable miles

I have had two disconcerting events which haven't reoccurred.

1. Halfway through the carwash it jumped into gear.

2. I had just left home the first cool day this fall. I drove down the side street all electric and turned onto the main road. When I pressed down the accelerator the ICE revved-up and my Maveric accelerated very slowly. I let-up on the accelerator, then continued on as if nothing had happened.

2) End of 8/23 delivery
3) only 1600 miles so far, 2nd tank of gas as 2nd owner, no TSBs, no recalls on the app which is connected, no service that I know of, I have no updates on the entertainment center yet, but I did trickle charge the 12v OEM battery once, Bluetooth OBD2 dongle is in the car too. Brakes are fine, grabby is good to me, it's about using regen for me too, like a Rolls Royce chauffer I let off the pressure as I come to a stop. It did sort of surge once when it was 'cold'.

The truck has been fantastic and fun to drive. My only major complaint is putting the truck in ECO mode every time I start it.

Perhaps should not post as there is a fine line between short live issues and problems that need to be fixed.

13,9 of the 13,020 no problems needing service.

Under 500 miles had a strong shudder followed by a medium on. This went away.

Then Halloween, 1 year 6 days after delivery and 13.9+k miles, had a deep sleep alert on the ford app. The heated mirror switch has been on. Did mostly what the app said. Drove on a 58 mile trip, first 12 minutes no heat. Continued with no radio or using features as line assist and adaptive cruise. Think it's ok. Have done some short trips. Need to keep an eye on it. Asked myself is this an issue with the truck going into electric mode to eary, but use Normal Drive mode. Is this an issue with how the little battery is charged, think so. Will only turn on the heated window and will shut it off when see it still on going forward. It does have the heated wipers, but that feature is not available in 2024.

I have never had a car that didn't have some problems in 55 years of driving
