I shd have kept my 99 ford ranger zipper leather pouch for my mav manual before I sold it. The maverick replaced my maverick after all.

I’m wishing I had the manual zipper pouch from my ‘96 Mustang GT right now. Mustang got stolen and then wrecked. That’s the car I had right before the Lincoln I got in 2016 which is going into my dad’s name now that I’ve got my Maverick.

I was disappointed when I picked up my 2023 about a month ago and the manual is pretty thick but it only came in shrink wrap. No owner's manual holder to keep the book from getting damaged in the glove box. Have any of you found a good product to buy?

Hi Ron. Go to a wrecking yard and grab a holder from an old Ford truck. I was in the same boat and had no problem finding a manual holder at no cost to me. Good luck.

Anyway, some members on the forum have had luck finding one on Ebay or Amazon. Here's a link to one off Amazon that I found using a quick Google search but there are probably better ones. It's a place to start.....

I just bought that one off eBay for a little under $20 bucks and sealed. Could be a genuine Ford part, fits the owner’s manual like a glove. Much nicer than the tacky cheap vinyl pouch with my local dealer’s name emblazoned on it.

When I took delivery of my truck, I did notice it did not come with a vinyl/leather/cloth cover. But I didn't really expect one because it's a cheap truck, compared to other available trucks. Typically, if I need to look something up in it, I use the PDF version of the user manual on my PC, anyway.

One of Ford's goals was to design, build and sell a Hybrid truck for an MSRP of under 20 grand the first year it was available. They succeeded in doing that, but only by drastically cutting costs everywhere they could.

I bought the same one on eBay. I keep it stashed in the rear pocket of the passenger seat, don't like to clutter the glovebox. My Bronco didn't even come with a printed owners manual, you have to use the OM in infotainment system.

I would have kept the cloth zippered folder that came with the 2011 ranger I traded in, if I had known my 2023 Maverick did not come with one, I guess the had to cut costs . The Ford. Pass app has the owners manual on it , which it nice .

I bought a Bronco manual from them, I like having a hard copy, guess I'm just an old guy.

I keep my manual in my desk a home in a file folder. Digital copy on a PDF on my phone, no need to bring the paper copy around.

I agree. I prefer physical copies myself.

I keep the paper manual in the truck, a PDF on my phone, tablet and PC. I much prefer the searchable PDF over the paper book. And I can ZOOM the text of the PDF. No can do with the paper copy.

For anybody that requires a cover for the paper copy, they're all over eBay for a little of nothing.
