When I got my truck 2 summers ago, I was overwhelmed with the options and choices, but new I wanted a hard top, tri-fold. I scoured Amazon and other sites, and ended up buying one on ebay for $400 delivered. It's a knock, but fits the bed incredibly well and lets in very little water when it...
We ran a bunch of errands tonight and went out to dinner. Took my truck to see if it was the battery or snow/ice on a sensor. When I turned it on, there were no engine warning lights. The truck drove fine. No issues at all.
I also reinstalled the FordPass App and enabled all the stuff. Once I...
I have not charged the battery. After talking with the tech today, I do plan on driving it this evening to see if that helps charge it. Also meant to add that there is no snow/ice on the windshield. Camera area should be clear. I did just change wiper blades in December - had a hard time finding...
The plot thickens. Was able to get a hold my local ford dealer's service dept. They are booking out til the 22nd. I spoke with the tech and explained what happened. Also let him know about the dreaded deep sleep issues with the hybrid battery - it's been bitter cold and, while the...
Quick update. Took the car to Advanced Auto parts to have them check codes - truck is too new and their software is too old. No codes thrown, but engine light is still showing. Calling the dealer now.
Thankfully this happened a half mile from my house and I was able to get home safely. Had a Dr's appointment this morning and ran a few errands on the way home. Truck was driving just fine. No issues at all. Last stop was a mile from home. Turned the truck on, put it in drive and started going...
I ended up ordering 225/65R17 106T Michelin X-Ice Snow SUV from Discount Tire - they are a sponsor of this forum. I worked with them directly through this site. Super easy transaction.
my last car was a VW golf and I absolutely LOVE the heated steering wheel. I wish the heated seats were split (bottom and back with separate controls). Way back in the day, i had a GMC Envoy and they had the split heated seats as an option. I would keep the back on, but turn off the seat bottom...
I live in Northern Vermont, and while we don't get 400-500" of snow per year, we do get our fair share. I am also at the mountain every weekend for my kid's ski lessons. In the past, I've used studded and non studded snow tires on my previous car (VW Golf). I went with Michelin x-Ice snow tires...
I don't think there's one in Vermont. I ordered the tires and they shipped them to me. Used a local garage to mount/balance them on my other rims. If you're not mounting them on separate rims, Costco is the way to go.
I almost got 'em at Costco, but @Discount Tire was able to offer a competitive deal. I also have a 2nd set of rims (the 17" steelies) so after original mounting, I can swap them myself.
And yes, I'm in Northern VT as well. I met another CO maverick owner at Beverage Warehouse in Winooski over...
As a fellow Vermonter, I don't think you can wrong with either tire. When I was looking for snows last Fall, the Blizzaks were on my short list (#2). I ultimately ended up going with the Michelin Ice-X because of some crazy good discounts and rebates. I did have Blizzaks on my last vehicle, and...
I thought about it, but I don't really care about the compass not being there. I really wanted it for the home link piece and auto dimming. I didn't notice it wouldn't all for back together properly until after I wired it all together. At that point it wasn't worth the hassle of taking it apart...
