Oil Life Indicator APP update

I changed my oil this morning and re-set the Oil Life to 100% in the vehicle but the Ford Pass app and website have yet to update. Just wondering if there is a 24 hour delay or something.

I changed my oil last week and reset the OLM to 100% no problem. Also documented my work on the Ford.com site.

That said, I purposely avoided setting up a Ford Pass account to avoid snafus. I know, the Ford Pass is very useful for many folks - but not me

I was able to reset the OLM to 100% very easily too. I’m just not understanding why the app and the website for Ford Pass has yet to update hours later. I chatted with a Ford Customer Service agent that pretty much said see what happens tomorrow. Personally I like the App. It’s wonky sometimes though.

For me it took a few days to update to 100% in the Ford app.i thought there was something wrong but didn’t have time to document it and then it updated, finally.

It may take a drive or two for it to update. When you reset the OLM in the truck, do you only have the ignition on, and not the engine?

Doesn't update until the next time the vehicle communicates with Ford's server. Relax.

I've never had an issue with the app updating. When I change the oil it updates a few minutes after I start the engine. Same thing with the Tire Pressure. Since day one. I actually like the apps since I can monitor those basic things including fuel level, since the wife has taken over the Maverick I have to make sure everything is ok including going out for fuel.

Setting up that account got me a bed rug and floor mats for ~$10. I happily sold my info to them. "They" (Ford, Google, CC companies, etc, etc, etc) already know plenty about me, might as well make some $ from it.

About 2 days. Just changed mine and that's how long it took for mine to update.

That’s odd. Changed oil and filter in my 24 Eco, reset dash OLM, and my app changed to 100% almost instantaneously.

With Ford Pass open, pull down briefly from top (finger on gray area of display), forces App toimmediately communicate with Ford Server. Example: add air to a tire, force App to immediately communicate with Ford server, and the

App will display new tire pressure in a few seconds.
