Odometer reading when I receive my Mav

27 on mine, including what I put on in my test drive loop of an off the lot truck.

While the OP is inquiring on a special order truck one thing to remember is fi a customer wanted a particular vehicle and the dealer traded for it many would be driven from the other location within a certain radius. That could be several hundred miles. But the vehicle would still be new and the warranty counts from the time of sale.

I had 12. I was thinking going in single digits would be ideal but really didn’t want more than 20. I was fine with the 12.

What odometer reading should I expect to see when I go to pick up my custom-ordered Mav? If odometer showed 2 miles, I suppose that's not unreasonable. (e.g. driven to fill up the tank, etc.) What about 5 miles? 10 miles? Where would you draw the line?

With manufacturers having to transport and park vehicles in parking lots all over the Country because of Union production quotas, I would not be surprised to see more miles on the odo than is usual on a 'new' vehicle, depending on the chipset or other missing components. My local dealer will have to drive the Maverick to a LineX applicator, that will put about 70 miles on the odo in my case. I know the odo is not cable driven anymore, just saying that 'situation normal' is not normal now.

My truck had about 20 on it when I got it. Mileage at the factory, rail yards, dealership. All I know is it is FABULOUS!

My MAV was delivered to my doorstep with 16 miles on the ODO... oddly the disclosure statement said 12 on it...

I'm not sure what to make of the extra 4 miles but as a previous poster said "pick your battles". I did mention it to the delivery team and joking said, "16 miles on the odo? What for? I'm going to need a replacement engine on this".

Mine showed 27 miles but I had an official note from Ford on my windshield saying that my truck was randomly selected to go on a test drive.

Same! I had about 22 on mine.

had 24km on our Bronco Sport, from the same factory as the Mav, they do have a test track down there. Being a newer model and thus "working out the kinks" aspect of a new model year, seeing many having similar mileage readings new from factory, I feel this is in general the norm and acceptable, especially to ensure a properly running and functioning new vehicle.

Mine had 41 miles when it arrived at the dealer. When I arrived to test drive my order, it had 51 miles. They did a QC drive to Starbuck's and filled it with gas. After my test drive it had 91 miles. That is OK. Many of the Mavericks had to be driven to a big parking lot in Hermosillo and back that were waiting on chips.
