Woof. Any word on if they're actually scheduling for two months? Would make sense if they had that large an effort and had to push it back.

That shouldn't change. I don't think they canceled scheduling because of needing to move build dates back.

Thanks. I meant more pushing back scheduling to get all their ducks in a row for a bigger two-month scheduling effort.

Never kill them messenger, severely maim them so they can take the word back. That being said, I do appreciate the update.

I hate that Ford is counting on dealers and folks like fordvideoguy to placate customers that are irate over Ford's ineptitude. That is Jim Farley's job and he sucks at it. Does Ford even care that they are screwing people who are on a budget over or is that reserved for folks who can afford a King Ranch Edition F150? For 2 years, Maverick scheduling has been a clown show. The only reason I have stuck around this long is the Maverick is about the perfect vehicle for my needs. At this point, other factors in my life dictate that I start looking for another vehicle. I can no longer wait for a vehicle that may or may not be built. Does Ford really think I am ever going to recommend a Ford to anyone?

Great, we continue to be stuck with majority ADM only dealers while we keep guessing if we will be scheduled on next round or not.

It's a publicly traded company, their only obligation is to the shareholders. No offense but this is entitlement and clearly they don't need yours or anyone else's referral to sell a Maverick considering nobody can really get one.

And they're not doing a very good job of that either!

I'm not going to Monday morning qb Jim Farley but I just don't think he's worried about a bunch of disgruntled potential Maverick owners.....if anyone here thinks they can do better, by all means, make your way up through the ranks at Ford and do so.

If you want to be upset with anyone, be upset with those who have ordered 3, 4, and even more 2024 Mavericks that I've seen just to try and game the system. All it does is give greedy dealers the ability to mark up and takes away from someone else actually getting their order. My father wanted a hybrid, I did my research and made sure to ask the right questions and ordered (1) 2024 for him and it's scheduled so don't tell me that it's necessary to order multiple Mavericks to get one.

It puzzles me why Ford doesn't schedule out the entire backlog. Would anyone be more frustrated that their build date is 6 months from now rather that not knowing if it will ever get built?

Supply chain. There are parts of it that might not simply be able to accurately predict parts availability that far out, especially those that ultimately rely on raw goods to produce.
