Hmmmmm = Ground cable from battery to body that when taken off will "RELEASE" the battery do it can be removed. So how much time to do the Positive "release" cable????....
Removing the battery from the hybrid backseat is not that easy you need the right extender bracket for your wrench and little fingers are better. I had a 12 year-old do it. Grandkids are handy.

Holy cow people not reading the user profile descriptions of vehicles on posts.

In this case trim doesn't even matter - just Hybrid or EcoBoost, and some knowledge, will stop the silly claims of what did or did not come with the truck.

Would be as bad as claiming someone shouldn't be hearing shift points with an eCVT - forgetting the EB's don't have an eCVT.

If you had an AGM battery, there’s no way it could’ve been a Motorcraft product. You can’t find them. It was probably a dealer replacement because he couldn’t get the car to start bunch of failed on dealers lots before they even sold. I’ve talked to my dealer about this extensively Likely in fact, I’m almost impossible. It’s a factory served AGM battery.
Well, the 25 Mavericks (hybrid and eco) have Motorcraft AGM batteries so it is possible for a 24 Maverick to get an AGM Motorcraft battery.

Replacing hybrid backseat battery with Delco AGM battery took about 30 minutes with a frustration level of six out of 10 due to the confined space and the difficulty of getting to the bottom bolt to remove the clamp once my 12-year-old granddaughter showed up with her tiny hands she did it in about 15 seconds

I believe the MY25 Mavericks are using AGM
Yeah, I don’t know if they got an AGM battery in the 25s I know you can’t find an aftermarket Motorcraft AGM battery that fits that space anywhere so they must be using them all for production. I like the Delco cause the cranking amps are twice as much as the old one. I put the old one from my hybrid backseat into my quad.

My local Costco sells Interstate Batteries, and I've never had an issue with those. If I need a new AGM battery, that'll be where I go.

side note: I just replaced the dead AGM battery in my wife's 2019 GMC Terrain yesterday and that had to be the least painful experience I have had in recent memory replacing a battery. Replacing the battery in my 2016 Subaru Forester involved going through the 7 stages of grief. lol

My 24 came with an AGM.
Eco's 23,24 and 25 came with AGM batteries. The 22-24 hybrids did not come with AGM batteries.

This a follow up on my post about a dead battery in my 22 XLT https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...ally-happened-to-me.59151/page-4#post-1040080
that deserves a thread of its own.

...

An interesting day.
I had the same problem and annoyed the dealer enough that they finally replaced my battery with a Ford AGM battery.

The problem didn't get much better. If my truck sits for a day or two it's drained enough that auto start stop won't work and I get the message that the vehicle is charging.

OMG. That looks just like the OEM battery in my 2023 XLT. Thanks for saving me the trouble of taking a photo of mine.

Ford has been using that AGM group 48 battery for a long time. I know that because I'm a retired Ford parts counterman. Before I left in 2020 I collected 5 of those AGM 48's and used them on my off grid cabin solar project.

It made me chuckle when I read the posts up thread saying that Ford doesn't make AGM batteries.
