I would like to see Mitchell Watts of Town & Country put out a You Tube video response to this. They are a huge outfit on You Tube and he can certainly speak to this.

Following along as an interested party. Plan on placing a hybrid order for 2023 MY and spoke with my dealer on Tuesday of this week about ordering a EcoBoost in the meantime. He claimed he still has approximately 125 Maverick orders (75 of them hybrid) still unscheduled and stated that he thought Ford will be bumping some Hybrid orders to the 2023 MY.

It seems Ford may not have cut the ordering off fast enough or did not anticipate the demand for the hybrid. Another debacle, not as bad as Bronco but bad enough. They need to get the Lightning right or there will be a mutiny around the half ton truck world.

So, I am not going to doubt the OP until there is some clarity.

I could be mistaken, but I think I remember seeing a post by Tim that only the dealer can verify if you are in ROVP. Customer service does not have access to that information. They can only see if an order is placed and what stage you are at. If it was placed but not verified, it would just show up as order processing, same as would a verified order waiting on a build date.

i have been told by ford a while back that my rovp-reserved order vehicle process was in and my e mail and a\Add: name and dealer order# and dealer sales code was attached

yes i know that # by heart i have spoe with them several times over the mo's but they are very limited with what they can tell you .you should know this

Your biggest mistake is trusting your dealership. They either didn't finalize your order correctly by the 11/15 cutoff, or they want you to switch to a EB so they can take your hybrid order and sell it for a markup.

If you want the real status of your order, you need to call Ford and find out. Make sure to let them know about your dealer's shady practices.

Sounds like your dealer is trying to job you. If true Ford would be sending letters to all affected dealers and buyer. Check with Ford to confirm.

According to Tim in Selina, there is no indication of a problem with Hybrid orders. Ford is building them and they are available. If your dealer failed to follow the process before the cutoff date for Hybrid orders which was in November, then that is there mistake. It almost sounds like the old bait and switch- but most likely your dealer is the issue.
