Good Morning,
Thought I would share some interesting information today. My truck is on its way to the Cleveland, OH area and I have been tracking the railcar using the processes on this site. It arrived in Wallbridge, OH on its way to the Wayne, MI plant to get put on a car carrier. It arrived in Wallbridge on 12/3 and when checking status on 12/7 it was indicating "No Status Available". I have learned that if it has not moved in a few days it will get this "No Status Available" status. I called CSX and talked with a very friendly customer service representative who indicated that it was still in Wallbridge and the "No Status Available" is because the car was put on hold due to the destination location, being the Wayne, MI plant did not have any available capacity. She also indicated that it is scheduled to depart third shift today, so it should be moving again. So if you get the status of "No Status Available" for a few days in a row and it is close to the final destination then it is likely the same situation as mine.
You may now be asking, how do I know what the final destination is? I learned that if I go to palsapp.com and put in my vehicles VIN it will give information related to the car carrier portion of the delivery to the dealer. It will at minimum show the VIN, status, and Origin. The Origin is the railcar final destination. That has been my experience so far. This site has a lot if great information and you may have to just do a lot of reading to figure out all the cookie crumbs to follow for the delivery process.
Good Luck, hope this is found to be helpful.
