Can you be a little more vague?

Or do you just mean that there is still movement in the universe?

Your school had a room? Damn... That's impressive.
I mean I literally said something going on because why the hell does an order placed in December get built before an order placed in July? Thats ridiculous IMO that orders all the way back in summer 2021 still arent built. Did I not specify that? And a parts shortage would make sense IMO.

...because they are not built strictly on a first ordered basis....

Yes, he went from ALL CAPS to all lower case with no punctuation.

I get to see this with college students, who no longer know how to make a sentence or use punctuation. I will say that most of them are in the "all lower case" end of the spectrum. Some of them manage sentences but can't grasp the idea of paragraphs or white space to separate concepts and ideas that they are trying to convey to the reader.
The first clue was the thread's title structure and messaging! The sky is falling, a salesman told the truth?

Right... You said "There is definitely something going on IMO" because orders placed in July weren't built yet.
(Note: You didn't mention December builds in your original message. Did you mean to?)

I was just asking if you had any thoughts about what that "something" might be. You seem to have ruled out parts shortages as being a cause (although most people seem to think that is a big factor). Any idea what else might be the cause? Or do you just want to leave it at "something"?

I was just told by my sales person that the situation with Hybrids was not good right now but no other explaination or offer at this time???? So disappointed.
I ordered my Maverick this past Saturday and was told by the sales guy that there was a shortage of hybrid engines and that it was "significantly impacting" delivery of hybrid vehicles. His recommendation (which is where I was going anyway) was to get an Ecoboost and expect delivery in 3-4 months.

Dealer was Woody Anderson Ford, Huntsville, AL

Supply constraints are not a valid argument from Ford anymore. They choose to prioritize later hybrid orders over those of us who ordered in June and July. They have the components for those builds, but can't be bothered to clear the backlog of June and July orders.
I guess it depends on what the issue is.

If the issue is why haven't they produced Mavericks faster and filled more orders, then supply constraints are still important. (BTW, if they had been able to fill more orders faster, there would likely be much less angst about early vs late orders.)

If the issue is why are they filling later orders instead of much earlier identical orders, then you have to look at Ford's methods for ordering, allocation, and prioritization.
