Don't underestimate GM's ability to make a small engine give abysmal gas mileage by virtue of being gutless for highway speeds.
All hail the Iron Duke!

Looks amazing. I thought the new Ranger looked great, too, but the Colorado will definitely compete with it.

Hope they start selling them soon. Ford will blow these out of the water with the Ranger redesign and Toyota will mop up both when they inevitably launch the Tacoma redesign sometime between 2024 and 2500.

Better than last years truck, but not really Maverick competition. I'd stick with Maverick even if they were the same in price.

I'm pretty impressed with the looks.... I am sure it will be priced quite a bit higher than the current starting price since only 1 configuration now.

I really like the interior.... to me this looks better than the ranger outside and especially inside. Obviously no where near the MPG of maverick but it will be of interest for me.... that and the rear seat room.

It I was not worried about what how much I was going to spend and what kind of MPG I got this would be at the top of my list, but I am sure that when all is said and done it will be way down there

this is a guess but it comes in one transmission, 2.7L Turbo . The current maverick eco gets more hp then the base 2.7l turbo but the turbo plus and turbo plus high ouput gets much more obivously. Its gotten bigger move close to full size truck size. Makes me think the s10 might come back now.
Yup. In three or four years, a bunch will be back on the roads—Chevy, Dodge/Ram, Nissan, Toyota, Mazda, etc. Is Isuzu still around lol ?

Production will not begin until early 2023. Chevrolet says deliveries starting in the first half of 2023.

One thing I read but can't find pictures of is I guess the tailgate will have a compartment in it for tools or other stuff. Would be something Maverick should add in the future to their flexbed.

Hate to pee on Chevy's parade, but I'll take the Maverick I pre-ordered this morning any day of the week.

Up here, Chevy has traditionally offered free of charge a heated tailgate on all their trucks. That way when they need to be pushed off the road in the winter, one does not freeze their hands. :D
