I’m finding out it’s easier to knock it into battery mode on eco but is really more about the driver and how good his pedal control is.
interesting! thanks.

I get about 33-34 mpg on mostly city driving using eco. Kinda disappointing.

I see some great MPGs being posted but most include quite a bit of highway. Im pretty sure a high percentage (80-90%) of my driving would be in city or around town.

Does anyone have similar driving routes, and if so what MPGs have you seen?

Been reported here several times...Eco on the Hybrid is more effect to regenerating the battery. I find you get significantly better MPG in rolling hills areas where you can coast down hills. I go to the same place (rolling hills) every morning and consistently get 46 to 49 mpg on my Hybrid. If I'm not in a hurry I make a concerted effort to keep the needle in the green recharging area. Freeways in 70-80mph consistently 39-43 mpg.

I have 325 miles on my new Mav. All city miles. I'm averaging 42 MPG on this first tank of gas.

Try slippery mode.

Also the best thing a new owner can do is put on the EV coach screen.

When stopping, keep the regen needle above the peg in the green.

55-60mpg in city in normal mode
50-55mpg on highway if I'm going 55mph with no one behind me in normal mode
45-50mpg at 5mph above speed limit in normal mode

City Drive.
Slippery mode.
0-35 MPH most.
0-45 MPH some.

Not a fluke. Happens every day of the week in mild weather so no climate control is being used for heat or air conditioning.

More 'suburban' driving here, and easily average around 50 mpg over the course of the first tank, and current tank. It drops a bit when climbing the couple of grades coming to work, and then goes back up on the way home, as I'm going down those same grades. - Usually 43-48 on the way in, and in the 60s, and actually hit 72 one warm afternoon going home.

I went through the city instead of taking the highway around the city a few days ago.

Nice, my high has only been 82.4 on the way home from work Friday in warm weather. - Of course, mine might still be breaking in, having crossed the 1000 mile mark during that drive.

I have a 15 mile commute country roads 45 to 55 mph and rarely get on interstate. I have filled up three times now and get well over 600 a tank my avg mpg is 50.4. Compared to my f150 getting twice the range with a tank half as big so it s like getting a 2nd car for less than $150 a month with the gas savings. Still use the f150 for bigger loads and getting into the woods so i don t scratch up the new one but I m very happy.

I do about 80% City, 20% Highway and have about 51 mpg for just over 2 years of ownership. One caveat is that I leave early for work, before 6 AM, so I usually cruise thru the city on all green lights going about 40mph the majority of the way. On the way home I take the freeway, but I consider it city driving because I am in slow or stop and go traffic for more than half of the commute home. Sometimes traffic is so bad google shows that taking the streets home is faster or takes the same amount of time.

I just hit 1000 miles in Austin, TX. I've averaged around 43 so far. Occasional highway trips to San Antonio at 70 drives it down, then stop and go drives it back up. Learned from my EV that highway over 70 kills range / mpg - that would be worse in a truck I think. I drive about 70% city, 30% highway trips. Pure city, I'm likely closer to 45 - it's March so no heater or AC FWIW. Also, I don't use ECO - just get in and drive. Used to have a RAV4 Prime & ECO never helped range or mpg in that.
