I just sprayed the rubberized sound deadening material in all four of my wheel wells.

I was thinking it would be nice to swap the felt liners in the front for plastic liners. My Tremor already has plastic liners in the back. Not sure if everyone does.

AFAICT, the front ones are plastic with a plastic "felt" sound-deadening liner. I spray the mud off them at the manual high-pressure car wash and they are dry by the time I get home. No "felt" damage, either. At least not yet.

This kind of info is good to know. I have had concerns because they just appear to be some sort of felt and have been afraid to use any pressure wash on them for fear of their longevity. Be interesting to see how they actually hold up long term.

I have had felt liners on my last 3 vehicles without any issue? My guess is Ford used them for a reason and that it will be loud with hard plastic.

I think the smooth plastic would be easier to clean and wouldn't hold onto the dirt and mud.
