Very informative. Thanks for posting.
Doesn’t matter about the comparison to me, I would never own a freaking Toyota!!
Yeah, I don't get peoples obsession with damped/power TG's in a PU. Seems like an answer to a question no one asked....Seems to make an issue about a 'dampened' tailgate, the purpose of this being? If you can't operate a tailgate up & down, why do have a pickup? I actually had a customer stop by with a new truck that had a tailgate that raised by itself, again why & how much did that option cost? Maybe you can use it to crush beer cans. Could be so people don't have to stop texting while operating the tailgate.
this right here is the quote of the week. bravo. If Toyota had made a smaller Tacoma with a hybrid drivetrain, for $22,000, I would have bought it. But they didn't, so I didn't. I'm hoping that Ford rewards my decision to buy my first non-Japanese vehicle by making the Maverick durable and reliable.
Also has an awesome resale price. The Tacoma has a higher price point for sure.
