One thing I remember about my Santa Cruz test drive... It looks smaller than it is. When you walk up to it, the SC is kind of huge. We see them around Asheville a lot. I think they look really nice in light blue and sage gray (kind of a light green).

It would be so nice if we could take the tech out of the SC and put it in the Maverick. Hyundai gives you really awesome tech for the money - especially the bottom SE trims.

It would be so nice if we could take the tech out of the SC and put it in the Maverick. Hyundai gives you really awesome tech for the money - especially the bottom SE trims.
It would be even better if we could put a hybrid into the SC.
I'd be on an entirely different forum if they had.

I’ve seen quite few around my area . I don’t see cruz lasting much longer if they don’t improve sales numbers. Barely any growth from 2022-2023.

I’ve seen quite few around my area . I don’t see cruz lasting much longer if they don’t improve sales numbers. Barely any growth from 2022-2023.
Because they got greedy -- they should have pumped base-models out by the thousands, would have given disgruntled Mav order holders something to seriously look at. Instead, they filled lots with the higher end models, making them largely non-competitive in the small truck competition, where most people were attracted to the Mav because of price and (for some) mpg. I like the SC, myself, but the cheapest ones in my area are still way beyond what I'll be paying for a Mav, with no hybrid option. Would have overlooked the lack of hybrid if they were competitively priced. Hyundai shot themselves in the foot on this. That they don't appear to be course-correcting for 2023 or beyond is all the more astonishing. Guess they're okay with second in a (currently) 2-company race.

Very true they overpriced it and no hybrids .. but still

Is awful growth rate. Not even 3k speaks volumes

While it's not doing the numbers the Maverick is doing, the Santa Cruz is selling pretty well for Hyundai. A lot of vehicles has seen declines in sales, so any growth is good in this market.

While it's not doing the numbers the Maverick is doing, the Santa Cruz is selling pretty well for Hyundai. A lot of vehicles has seen declines in sales, so any growth is good in this market.
True but they are barley making profit it. Cant be happy about that …
