They didn’t fit I mean they fit and bolt right up with the wire harness is different and I knew that going in and buying it that it only stated 2022 to 2024. Only reason why I bought it is because somebody stated that the tail light part number is the same throughout the years. So I took a hopeful chance.
From what I’ve seen tail lights part # seem to not change only the suffix from what I’ve seen. ____-A / ____-B kinda part # changes. Only LED to Halogen are different to my knowledge which you already know.

Be sure to post a pic with them once installed as people will probably wanna see the finished product with the black truck and smoked lights!

Looking at them can you verify the brake light leds are red?
No, I cannot because I couldn’t even light them up and because I was returning them, I wasn’t going to use jumper wires

unfortunately, I cannot. They do not fit my Lobo. I packed them back up and I’m driving to UPS right now to return them.

This means Every country in the world including China.
Why Red Brake Lights Are Universal
  • International Standard:
Red is the globally accepted color for danger, stop, and alert signals.

  • Visibility:
Red light is highly visible and penetrates atmospheric conditions like fog and rain, making it easier for drivers to see from a distance.

  • Safety:
Using red for brake lights is a critical safety measure that gives drivers ample time to react, preventing rear-end collisions.

  • Legal Requirement:
All major countries and regulatory bodies, such as the U.S. Department of Transportation and European ECE regulations, require brake lights to be red.

I realize you didn't plug them in. Could you tell if the brake light portion was clear lens even though it was smoked?

The LED could still NOT be red just the lens area over it. The rule may exist but the maker can produce what they want. Then it is on you if it violates the law. The listing was done with that magical camera that shows some reds red, all ambers ambers, and other reds amber all in the same photo or video. Yes I am being obstinate about this as a consumer beware. I do not expect ANY Chinese company to really care if their product violates our laws or not.
No magic camera involved.
Technical Aspects of Color Definition
  • Color Accuracy:
The degree to which a camera's output matches the actual colors of the subject in the real world. This is crucial for accurate representations, especially in technical fields.

  • Color Space:
A specific range of colors that a device can display or a file can represent. The most common color space in photography is sRGB (Standard Red, Green, Blue), which ensures consistent color display across different devices.

  • Color Depth/Bit Depth:
The ability of each pixel to represent a range of color tones and intensities. A higher bit depth allows for more subtle and detailed color variations.
Or does this comes down to a personal agenda?

Yes, the brake light is a clear lens with red LEDs and the running lights are LEDs with a red lens. That’s the reason why the video and pictures look like they are two different colors.

Thank You 🤝

As I suspected from the beginning.
Clear lens red LED's brake lights.
Red lens probably red LED's for taillights

After a couple of failures of Lasfit LED tail lights it's a hard pass for me. I'll stick with OEM incandescent brake lights.
I'm on your side of this. I'm of the opinion that the OEM's are large enough and bright enough to be highly visible. I was also disappointed with Lasfit's LED replacement lamps and would have thought their quality control would have done a better job of ensuring their product worked out the door.

Maybe there's an adapter available.

Ryan - Mention has been made of the availability of apparent clones of the taillight units from several other sources. Is there something different between Mabett’s offering and those others?

I would be all over them if the lens covering the LED housing was clear rather than smoke. I do not care for smoke tail lights or headlights, in my opinion it defeats the purpose.

Looks like I might return them if they don’t fit. I have a lobo. They got delivered today. I’ll update tomorrow.
It looks like the 2025 Lobo uses Ford part numbers SZ6Z13404B and SZ6Z13405B. Probably uses LED's in the lamps so they might be different.

Thank you for the support reassurance. I was really on the fence on everything, but if you’re willing to work with a customer for any issues that’s greatly appreciated.
I will vouch for their customer service!
