Mabett | Upgraded Side Marker Lights Available Now!

Just installed the sidemarker lights on my truck. I did a little light sanding on the passenger one based on the posts but not sure if it was needed. Maybe in summer when the heat

expands things it might rub.
It took me about 10 minutes per side and another 5 minutes to clean up the wiring. My truck is black and everything on the exterior is blacked out but I didn't paint the silver square yet. Going to wait a few weeks to see how I like it.

Just got my 3D Printed Lenses today they fit perfect now working on correct LED and wiring harness - these printed lenses meet the exact curvature to match the OEM insert

I have also installed these new Mabett side maker lights as well on my 2022 Ford Maverick XL. I can't open passenger side door,so I had to dismantle it. I hope Mabett will replace my passenger side marker light.

Nice I'm just waiting on custom harness to arrive to install mine other than that they're all ready to go and wired up paint is done as well. Been sitting at the local post office 20 minutes away since Thursday night. God I hate USPS.

I received the Mabett side markers a couple of weeks ago, but based on these comments/reviews, I’m not comfortable installing these and having them rub the paint. @MABETT should I return these, or do you have a correction in process to replace the passenger side?

I pre-emptively did a little light sanding on mine but it wasn't necessary. Mine has plenty of clearance when opening the door. Maybe the Maverick sheet metal slots vary somewhat.

Don't like them.pretty ugly.i like the original ones even though they weren't reliable cuz I'm on my third set now and still don't work properly.good luck with those.

I agree with you, they just look way to big to me. I have a Brand New set of the original ones in the box that I have not installed. I made my own and they done exactly the same thing as the Mabett so I'm good. Everyone has their own opinions

The set I ordered on February 11th are due to be delivered today and I have the exact same concern as you. I seems positively risky to just receive them and install them. I am not sure what I will do. A very real option I am considering is just returning them. My rational, better safe than sorry...

So, these lights have three wires going to them, assuming they are ground, turn signal on and headlight on. The passenger side has a connector that goes to the park/turn bulb and another to the headlight (driver side goes only to the park/turn). What was the point of adding the second connector on the passenger side and then also the single red wire going across to the driver side? Why not just use the single connector on both sides and use the park lamp signal to trigger the animation and keep lights on instead of headlight? Would make the connections so much cleaner.

Edit: I guess the only benefit is if DRL are on, these side markers should also come on. The light animation activates via the red wire. When doors are unlocked, the parking lights activate first, followed by the turn signals. If connected to parking lights, the animation will activate for a brief moment, before the turn signals override it. If connected to the headlights, it activates only when the headlights are switched on, so I don’t see much of an improvement. Opening the doors via remote, you will never see the animation, since the headlights never switch on (unless they do on upper trims).

I like my Lariat side marker badge as well I don’t know why they can’t manufacture a light kit that installs inside the existing marker badge and a simple plug and play wiring harness
