Finally got a chance today to clean off all the salt with a pressure washer at the local car wash. For whatever reason I can't get my gas pressure washer to start, God I'm ready for spring!

That is great you did not have any clearance problems. I wonder if that means that panel gaps are not necessarily uniform on the Maverick from one year to another? Where did you find the color match to paint your side markers? The vendor offered to replace mine but will take a month to receive them.
THIS - they are not uniform year to year or even model to model and tighter clearance on the passenger side is not uncommon. Unfortunately, if the manufacturers of these 3rd party add-ons do not do multiple testing across multiple model years and trim levels - some minor variances are likely to be expected. That said, some folks have zero issues and Mabett and Maxzina have both shown a willingness to accommodate and/or remedy folks which is appreciated.

I ordered a pair of these side lights and so far I really like them. Some folks say that they stick out too far. I feel the design engineers had their thinking caps on when they enginred these. I checked, after installation, and they stick out far enough to allow the light covers to wrap around the back of the housing, so when a vehicle comes around they can see the marker lights as soon as they can see down the side of the Mav. I found that important to me. I took some extra time with installation and wrapped the conductors in a split oxygen hose I salvaged from a portable oxygen tank, the tube older folks use with oxygen generators, etc. Wrapped that with Scotch 33, I don't use that fuzzy tape anywhere. Did this near the lights as the outside insulation I found to be a little short. I also cut some 1 1/2" pieces of hose and put it over the red wire to the passenger side and shoved that in the groove in the plastic cover across the top of the radiator. The groove doesn't go all the way to passenger side so I have the red wire taped down at present on that end. I know I have some stick on wire looms, but I haven't located them. Tape will be replaced. I used extra zip ties the attach wires in several places and then more zip ties to tuck all excess wires neatly out of the way. So far I really like the Maybette lights.

Okay, I misspelled Mabett. Can't type either.

Installed mine too and love them. I also transferred the small rubber strips from the original plastic trim. Kind of prevents the plastic from rubbing against the paint and it was still sticky enough to reinstall. Needed to file off a mm or so for the passenger side, just like some of the others, since the door was rubbing.

I also removed the plug that goes to the bottom plug of the headlight, along with the red wire that runs from the passenger to driver side. Cut the red wire connectors and soldered them directly to the red wire of the turn/parking light plug. Makes the install so much cleaner. Still have no idea why they decided to tap into the headlight.

This sounds like a really neat mod. Can you provide some additional guidance on how you did that?

I installed mine and I love them.
Just feel that the harnesses from them to the connectors are 2" too short.
They installed fine the are just too taut when zip tying the in place.

While the newest version is tight when opening the doors, they do not rub.

Wondering if the marker lights stay illuminates when being flat towed behind an RV when plugged into the RV like the tail lights or blinkers do even with the Mavrick’s ignition is turned off?
