I’ve done this and it helps, but is definitely not a cure all for the rate of deceleration. It brakes sooner, but does not seem to brake softer. I agree with your sentiment that Ford could do better.I also think, maybe that reducing following distance to three bars from four helps soften the CC reactions or should I say over reaction.
Mine also seems to handle curves fine, up to a certain point. On less gentle curves I’ve experienced the cancelling as well, though it has been pretty rare. I know the mountain roads around where you are have some pretty hellacious curves. Did your previous Mav have lane centering/ACC? If so, how did it handle them compared to your new Tremor?
