I just bought the Leer quad fold that was on sale. I bought it because $399 was hard to pass up. If budget isn't a concern I think the best hard folding cover is the Lomax Stance. Very low profile, the gasket and hinges are on the bottom side of the cover so you don't have a bunch of rubber...
Does your tremor have the adaptive cruise control with Lane centering, or does it have Lane departure warning / assist. They are two entirely different systems. My Lariat has Lane centering and it works great as long as the camera can see clearly defined stripes on each side of the lane. My...
I know this is an old thread but. After a year and a half, today as I was getting out of the truck the wind blew the door back on me and I had something metal in my hand and put a nice white scratch in the top of the door panel a few inches behind the pull about 1/8 wide and an inch long. So...
Because in other countries there are competing small trucks in the segment. When there's no competition in the US and Canada why would Ford put anything more than the bare minimum?
After purchasing my truck I coated it with Nexgen Ceramic. After the first rain I seen where water sheeted off the part of the windshield that had got some coating on it. So I coated all the glass. Best water repellent I've ever seen and lasts about 6 months. I coat the entire truck, paint...
Because the Maverick has no competition Ford will put the bare minimum in its trims. I bought a Lariat because that's the only way to get adaptive cruise control and Lane centering. Mine is a 24 so additional benefits were sync 3, better stereo, acoustic windshield, sound insulation between the...
They look pretty convenient but I'll stick with the slimy caterpillars. Reason being they seal the puncture on the inside and outside. I don't want the moisture that's inside the tire getting into the puncture and rusting the belts.
That image is a journalists Photoshop rendition. I think the Toyota truck will look as much like a RAV4 as the Maverick looks like the bronco sport/Escape it's based on. Toyota has a good track record other than a few missteps, the RAV4 is the third most selling vehicle I believe behind the...
The RAV4 uses a nearly identical drivetrain as the hybrid Maverick. 2.5 l, naturally aspirated, Port injected Atkins motor and a nearly identical ecvt. The big difference is the RAV4 doesn't have a PTU, drive shaft and RDU. The rear axle is driven by a gearbox and electric motor. My daughter's...
I have a '24 Lariat FX4 4K tow, my daughter has a '25 RAV4 XSE. Less than 1k price difference, the RAV4 is so much nicer when it comes to fit, finish, quality of materials and standard options. Everything in her RAV4 is soft touch pleather with blue contrast stitching, dash, seats, tops half of...
Update... Been good for the last 10 months. This morning powertrain malfunction, limp mode, wastegate stuck closed. This is so frustrating! Third wastegate actuator failure since I bought the truck brand new in February '25. They need to call in an engineer on this one.
The only Mavericks that have any kind of solid mounting position on the front is the FX4 and the tremor where the tow hooks mount to the cradle. All other trims are missing that mounting position. Most of the brush guards you see online are cosmetic only and offer no real protection from a deer.
This is my second setup. The first one was an aero turbine, sideways with about 6 in of pipe between the muffler and the tip. I just couldn't live with the drone. Added the midbody resonator, it helped but it was still piss off your neighbors loud. Second Time around is a MagnaFlow style Street...
I'm amazed that ppl are willing to spend that kind of money on box kits. The exhaust on the Maverick isn't that complicated. I'm on my second exhaust and have spent less than the borla kit. I went side exit. Any competent exhaust shop should be able to fabricate this in an hour or two plus...
Things like adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance, emergency braking, Lane centering, collision sensors.. these are all safety features that should be standard on every trim level or at the very least available options. They should not be locked behind at $7,000 Lariat trim upgrade! Take...
