My last reply here because this is not correct forum for this- thank you, I saved this and will research
final response in this thread as it’s off topic to Mav-
-Thank u for info, I saved it.
-The info is not 100% applicable to Mav as that is a 12 volt starting battery vs some 12/48 volt run...
Never counted on more than 4 yrs from a battery, most only have a 2 yr warranty and many are prorated so if you had a 3yr and it was 2yrs old you only got 1/3 refund- the top Walmart battery had a full 3yr and I got several replaced under it (that means they lasted less than 3). So, not sure...
Oh boy, I want to do that on my RYOBI 38” rider but was unaware it was not plug and play- can you point me to some info/thread on that ( rather than this thread)
Looks like a minuscule bed, can u even call it a truck bed? The Maverick bed should be at least 6-12 inches bigger can’t imagine going less.
Because Toyota has been stupid on this topic. Apparently satisfied w what they already have so “ go get it from them”.
You would think some enterprising 3d printer guy might come up w this as a product- if affordable I would like one (that window 'frame' is way too delicate!)
Funny that an article rate Maverick as one of the cheapest trucks to insure???
Mine is high w Allstate and I will need to shop and/or raise deductibles, etc.
Thats nice but still vaporware- how many times have I heard Maverick was going to add Phev like the Escape had, just foo foo dust (probably decided to wait and do an eRhev someday?) Anyway- if this happens it will be good but not much of a true Mav hybrid competitor but unique in comparison to...
Both companies have Hybrid tech, Honda probably sells many more of them in other models but never put it in the Ridgeline for some reason- it would probably double thier sales if they tuned it to achieve similar specs to the Maverick (would be viable w somewhat lower mpg because its larger and...
Std AWD ok? If so will try it w my Lariat Hybrid AWD, has the stock slightly larger tires (wrangler I think) /wheels but nothing special..... maybe air down a bit? -imagine there is no cage or skid plate so maybe a bit iffy but certainly better than a mustang or mini van like some vids show...
Not a single detail about which version Maverick, what tires, awd, mode, lowered tire pressure or any issues, not by OP, not by commenters whom just want to talk about naked bodies and sharks, really?
Many posts fail to specify hybrid vs eb.
the other main dif on the 25/26 hybrid was the ability to order awd/4kTow which brought it to parity w EB- I can testify that 4K works fine in my 25’ hybrid. The other big diff in this hybrid package was the change to a new eCvT which I feel is a great...
Hybrid version: YES.
That said here is some 'why' and thoughts for you-
The hybrid will probably get 45mpg for your 'use case', the EB only 22.
But IF you have access to a plug (apartments, etc may not) then either a pure EV or a Phev is actually better. I had one and wanted my Maverick to...
Just what the world needs is more noise, really. Some folks think a hybrid is complex, yet turbos and what people do to ice for some reason is a whole diferent definition of complex... wasting my time creating noise is not for me but as they say, you do you I guess,
