New article from CNN on Fathom and Maverick:

With the billions invested in EV infrastructure, Ford may have named the new pickup “Fathom” because it will find itself financially...
Have you considered purchasing a “leftover” 2026 model after the 2027 models come out? I haven’t heard of many differences between the 2026 and 2027 models. Once the new year models are on the lot you can usually find dealers willing to offer a pretty good discount to clear out the previous year...
I’ve done this and it helps, but is definitely not a cure all for the rate of deceleration. It brakes sooner, but does not seem to brake softer. I agree with your sentiment that Ford could do better.
Mine also seems to handle curves fine, up to a certain point. On less gentle curves I’ve...
I’ve tried it in all kinds of different driving scenarios and found it terrible (and scary) on two-lane roads and with any amount of start and stop driving or traffic. I, too, wish there was some way to adjust the rate of acceleration and braking, as the default programming seems to be to...
Had mine done yesterday in conjunction with oil change and tire rotation. Only took an hour for everything - I was in at 2pm and out at 3pm. It’s only been a little over 24 hours, but I have had no problems with my 24 Lariat EcoBoost.
Mine leaks from the pressurized car wash at the four corners, but pretty minimal. Wouldn’t exactly describe it as “leaks like a sieve.” As far as rain goes, I have had little to no encroachment from rain. For example, I moved my daughter into her dorm over the past two days and drove through...

Yes, my son who is 5’10” and 200 lbs. and my daughter who is 21 have both ridden back there. They say the seats are comfortable and there is a surprisingly spacious amount of leg room considering the size of the vehicle. They do not like having the rear speakers right next to their ears. They...
At this point, we’re four model years into the Maverick AWD and there doesn’t seem to be any problems or damage. Probably just chalk it up to another of the many random “weird” noises that the Maverick makes when it’s operating as designed.

I rented that exact trailer last month and hauled it from Fairhope, Alabama to Tuscaloosa, Alabama and back to pick up a solid wood conference table and 10 office chairs. I have a 2024 Maverick Lariat 2.0 EcoBoost with AWD and the 4k tow package. I used a 2” ball with a standard 2” drop hitch...
