I turned off automatic updates and it seems to be helping. Dome lights are working again.
Where did you turn that off? My dome light hasn't come on when I open the door when the truck is off in weeks. It does come on when I open the door when the truck is on though

Not to sound like a jerk, but I usually use the dealer to help resolve these issues. The pickup does have a warrantee that includes the battery.

Settings on the dash screen that you get to from the steering wheel or settings on the infotainment screen? I think they are on the radio screen right?

I am overseas and getting to a Ford dealer requires an appointment and it isn't real close to me and my guess is if I went there they would probably tell me "it is not possible". :)

All from the infotanement screen.
I’ll try and send you some screen grabs.

This makes sense. Most likely there's a battery drain from the Maverick's computer system always looking for updates. Of course, this should be considered temporary until Ford addresses the problem. In the meantime, as I mentioned earlier, I installed a couple of rechargeable courtesy lights (one for the front and one for the rear seats). Very small, good light output and held in place with a magnetic base.

My Hybrid is part of the "Deep Sleep Crowd". But with no dome light or electric locks (only manual), I also lost my Dash Illumination. Guessing speed. The radio still works. (I have a Dash Lights out thread on here,
Hybrid Maverick Dash Gauges Go Out").
Trying to get power all back before Tuesday Dealer Day. Bought a battery meter and charger. Charger hasn't arrived but battery meter indicates that battery at rest is 11.6 and under load is 9.8. ???? Love my Truck.

Update:
Dash lights were out due to a "download that was interrupted".
Dealer downloaded the software, works great.
Hybrid, 3/10/22, still in "Deep Sleep". Battery is charging over 15.2+-. Remote features off, still starts with key.
I did find that a long drive does bring the truck out of it's "Deep Sleep" for a day or two.

When truck is on the more the voltage will show up to at least 15.2volts (possibly more). The dcdc converter can output (I forget exactly what) 245(?) Amps. (If something is added and connected to 12v bus it may not work at times the bus exceeds the over voltage protection cutoff if it has one). When the truck is first shut off the voltage seen will be high and will over 5-15 seconds slowly drop to battery voltage. I believe part of this will be by design to help control power surges and the battery will be high from float charging. It will take 1 hour or more for battery to cool/stabilize and display it's true SOC. From what I have read the battery has an improved anode design to help prevent hot spots.

I tend to think it is a bad battery. Im over 14v while the truck is on but pretty much as soon as I turn it off it drops to 12.2
Same with mine, goes to 12.2 almost immediately. I was planning on taking it to the dealer and "requesting" a new battery(different model) another user posted here that fixed the issue.

However, after charging the battery overnight and resetting the BMS, I got the Deep Sleep message one time. I have not gotten the Deep Sleep now since the 16th of January. If I get it again, I will go to the dealer, just need to find the thread where they posted the replacement battery model #.

Edit: Here is the post, replacement battery listed in 4th post, Ford Motor Company BXT-99RT4-A

When you hook up charger do not hook negative to to battery negative find another ground. The bms is attached to the negative battery terminal (per manual)!

I found that a long drive gives me a day or two as well. I asked the service rep at my local dealer and he gave me typical "Fordspeak". "Well, you know this is a vehicle with sophisticated electronics and battery drain is going to happen as it is protecting the vehicle . . . blah, blah, blah". As if the Maverick is the first vehicle to have electronics. He did advise driving the vehicle to keep both batteries topped up.
