And the same guy has to have a 250hp motor on his fishing boat to catch 10lb of fish!It hauls as much as my Silverado does, which is definitely a truck. Just because the guys who buy huge trucks they'll never do anything more than haul groceries in say it isn't one doesn't make it so.
I mean, they'll tell you the fish they caught is two feet long when it's six inches at most.
I am self taught. Started in 2007.Itās a truck, but I would like to see what you turn. Like an art form that is vanishing, is there even wood shop anymore?
You summed up why I want a Mav. I've been on a "less is more" binge for the last couple years, AKA re-evaluating what I realistically need/use equipment for versus what I think I will need. Went from a CCLB F-250 V10 to my current Nissan Frontier.Mav can do everything (he needs) his 3500 to do at 1/3 the cost and 1/2 the operation costs + multi fold ease of maneuvering a Maverick around town vs a tank.
That was also a budget mobile that spawned several copycats. However its low price allowed people to hop em up a bit.I prefer the term "Pony Truck". It reminds me of the Mustang and how there will be several copy-cats coming. It is creating a big splash and instant demand. The original Maverick was another "Pony Car".
really nice work mate!I am self taught. Started in 2007.
Well, I wasn't going to put it that way, but the analogy about the six inch fish being called two feet long was deliberate.Yep! The bigger the truck the tinier the penis. Itās Napoleonic.
Love seeing a fellow Tennessean putting their Mav to good use! Glad youāre enjoying and that itās working for you!I live northeast of Nashville and I have hauled some bulky and some heavy loads on and off road in my XLT with FX4. I bought this truck to haul wood for my woodturning plus have a comfortable daily driver. After one week it has proven to be great at both jobs.
Shame on her!!!My wife says my Maverick is not a truck. I think it is though. She calls it a fruity truck. Lol
Impressive!!!I am self taught. Started in 2007.
Great location and thanks for the report. I too plan on using mine as a truck too. I will have to scale down a bit from my F150.About 71 acres of rolling Tennessee beauty.
My PA tag says "TRUCK" at the bottom. If PENNDOT says it's a truck , then it's a truck.Exactly. No need to talk down on it. Maverick looks like, smells like, tastes like, functions like a pickup truck. Therefore, it is a pickup truck. It's not truck-like. It's a truck, Built Ford Tough as they say, held to the same rigorous testing standards as any other BFT truck. Small and efficient, yet it's capable of more than many pickup drivers ever use their trucks for.
Cheers on that sir....Yes my neighbor is a ācontractorā (he re-assigns work to worker bees lol and doesnāt do much work himself) with a 3500 Ram dually diesel behemoth. I have never seen him towing anything and at most, carrying a ladder in the bed. Heās been eyeing our maverick for a few weeks now. I think itās hitting him the mighty Mav can do everything (he needs) his 3500 to do at 1/3 the cost and 1/2 the operation costs + multi fold ease of maneuvering a Maverick around town vs a tank.
What bed liner did you go with?I live northeast of Nashville and I have hauled some bulky and some heavy loads on and off road in my XLT with FX4. I bought this truck to haul wood for my woodturning plus have a comfortable daily driver. After one week it has proven to be great at both jobs.
