Sorry, I’m not sure what your question is. Picture please.
Sure.
Ford Maverick Installed 4' 6" TruXedo Pro X15 Tonneau Cover & Angry Elephant Rack System Rail size 50" yakima-8001156-hd-bar-pair-jeep-gladiator-jt-tabletop-main

If height is up and down, and length is from drivers side to passenger side, and width is front of bed to back of bed.

If the width of the crossbar is too large, then my bracket won't fit.

Here's how it will attach

Got it!

If your only short by a small amount(1/2in or so), I would elongate the holes in the upper and lower brackets so that bolts could be moved further apart. Otherwise, I would make or buy a set of brackets withe holes further apart.

Yeah I'm hoping it'll fit because i think those yakima kayak mounts are good for up to like 3.5". So if it's not all the way open then I'm thinking there's some wiggle room

I’m betting you’ll be good to go.

I bought a set of Malone Kayak Tie Down Posts and those brackets were just wide enough for the cross bar.

They fold down when not in use.

how tall do you have your rack set to?
It is in the lowest setting and will rise about 10-12”. I don’t recall what the height setting is.

I’m sure everyone is about over seeing pics of bed covers and rack systems, but that said for those that are still looking here’s a few more.

I purchased these aftermarket as a set and have just installed them. They look and work very very nice together.

Have kayak will paddle!!

Purchased from Tonneau Cover Factory Outlet. I have included a link for anyone who might be interested:

(Disclaimer:I have no financial interest. Just think they have good products that fit Mav perfectly and they have been good to work with.)

edit: More pics have been posted on page 3 of this tread at the request of viewer.

How easy is it to load the canoe?

It’s a one ‘man’ job. Due to the low profile of the truck, it’s pretty easy to set the nose on the rear rack and lift and push the boat into position.

The posts you see mounted on the racks are adjustable left and right making loading and tying down a single boat easier. (Those are separate purchase from the racks.)

The system I have here will accommodate upto kayaks or two kayaks and a canoe or two canoes.

Hope this helped.

I got the Vantech rack and Elevate rails and X4 cover (package deal $1900). It all went on easily. I had to bang on the X4 brackets a little to let the cover roll down nicely without catching the little hooks on the lip. I still need to add some foam and push the whole thing around a little, but it's nice. I'll probably take the rack apart and cut the ends down so I can shorten the whole thing below the cab when I want and extend it up when I actually need it. The problem with that is you have to loosen the top rails if you want to extend them up and down because the bars are tapered. I kind of wish I had gotten the vertical bars that are not tapered (elevate brand maybe?) so you can raise and lower as you wish without undoing bolts.
I threw that last picture in so you can see how tiny the Maverick is compared to a few Tundras and a Tacoma... HA!

So the bed width opening of the Maverick is 53", the 50" of the rail length looks like they stick out far beyond the bed width opening. I'm confused what is the measurement of the 50" of the rail??😕

Man...looks like these can be adjusted much higher...add a tarp and instant tent.

'Cept it's 4.5' and I'm 6', somethings gotta give. I was thinking of something like that but extending it out a bit. I would really love a SuperCab with a 6' bed. SuperMav!

For all the croaking about the lackings of the Maverick, I noticed all those real trucks are carrying nothing.
