Walmart,
Ever start Platinum AGM
760 CCA
110 minute reserve and the Bestest part,
A THREE year pro rating warranty
$190.00
If it dies in 18 month I get a new one for $95

That way I don’t have to worry about Ford updates Infecting my Mav and it having side effects. :’P

FWIW Interstates longest warranty is now only two years, been like that for three years already.

Why you ask?
Because all these newer over engineered volt sucking Vampire vehicles kill batteries at about 18-24 months. All because you boyz all want toys !
Chinese components, Taiwanese component, Japanese components,
All assembled in Mexico !
Hahahaha, The Russian in the movie Armageddon:XD
I think we all got off easy on the trouble per mile charts.

Interstate and many others give Just enough pro rate so you can save a few bucks, that insures they have repeat customers.

Did you guys know almost all batteries come from one Company ?
Johnson Controls.
Each brand has a few different specs that are mostly redundant and meaningless.

I’ll go with the 3 yr Wallyworld Battery. Because, ‘Country boys know how to survive !’

What ?

If that ain’t country I’ll kiss your ass !

The EverStart Platinum AGM battery has a four-year free replacement warranty. If the battery tests as defective within that period, Walmart will exchange it for a new one at no charge. The replacement battery will have the remainder of the original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer.

Batteries with a 36 month warranty compared to 48 or 60 month warranty are identical batteries. Only the warranty and price and decal are different. I never pay for an extra 2 year warranty. Spend the money you save on a Pulsetech PowerPulse Battery Maintenance System at Amazon for $40. My 2 batteries in my 2015 Transit are original, 11 years old, and still testing perfect. ✌

I've Had good luck with Ever Start Batteries. A guy I work with just replaced His 10 Year old battery in His 2015 Challenger. I told Him he was lucky it lasted that long.

This past spring, I replaced an Everstart that had been in my '83 Mustang for 12 years. But, before that, I had to take one back right after I bought it.

By the way, some credit cards double warranties, if warrantied item bought on card. Check the ones you use.

Odd, I read 36 months somewhere or another.

Honestly, that Walmart AGM isn’t a bad move. These new trucks drain batteries fast, and a 3-year pro-rate for $190 is hard to beat. Interstate dropping to a 2-year warranty kinda says it all.

Most of the batteries come from the same place anyway, so might as well go with the one that’s easy to replace and doesn’t break the bank. Sounds like solid country-boy logic to me. 😄

Is the H6 a direct replacement for a 24 EcoBoost?
