Meaning you have the original Lasfit bulbs that are not working as advertised? And they offered a discount on buying new ones? Sounds like a warranty issue to me. When I get my truck I expect I'll see the same thing (already have bulbs), and I expect them to make it right.
I believe the situation is like the one I had. Lasfit Leds ordered and installed BEFORE Ford software update. Bulbs Lasfit LED's functioned as designed. After Ford update, bulbs CONTINUE to function as designed, however dash indicators hyper flash. Lasfit has no lea reason to "make it right"

I think this site has issues with posting today.

In the photo if you look closely to the new T-3 bulbs there is now only 5 led elements on each side compared to having 6 elements on the old style pictured on the right of the photo. Lasfit indicates that a stronger resistor is being installed in the new T-3 bulb. When I originally replaced the older Lasfit led bulbs, I started with just one side to see if the new bulbs worked correctly . Without replacing all 4 bulbs at once, the dash turn signals indicator would still hyper flash. All 4 bulbs changed and all of the bulbs worked perfectly with no hyper flash on the dash. Hopefully I explained this better. lol
Ha! All 4 red bulbs changed, not just the left side. Got it, thanks.

don’t think that’s a Lasfit warranty issue when Ford issues a software update that messes up bulbs that were otherwise working fine. In my experience they’ve been pretty accomodating, replacing all 4 of my taillights at no charge when 2 burned out 1 month after warranty. Offering 50% off on a possible solution to a problem their product didn’t trigger directly seems reasonable to me. I’ll wait as long as possible before I get this recall done in the hopes that Ford patches the software involved again or Lasfit has a firm fix in place.

If you bought bulbs from Bob's Brighter Bulbs and they were advertised as fitting a 3157 socket, that would be one thing. But you (and I), bought from a company that advertised them FOR Maverick with no errors or hyper flashing. I bought them for my 24 Maverick, but when I put them in I know they won't work as advertised. How is that not an issue?

Seems to me that if you run an aftermarket company this is a risk you take. No different than if Ford changed the water pump design mid-year and Walter's Waterpumps says his will work, and then it doesn't. If he offers to sell you another at half off, would you be happy? Or do you think he should exchange it for one that does?

Ford is 100% not going to change the software to make non-Ford parts work. And if your truck is ever within arms reach of the dealer, they will update it to make sure it works with Ford OEM style bulbs. This is completely on the aftermarket company that wants their products to work with Ford.

Well, my bulbs were on and working (compatible) before the update by Ford. "Walters" waterpump guy says they are compatible, you buy it and it works! 6 months later ford does a recall and replaces bolts in new bracket and for whatever reason "Walters" pump no longer fits. Not Walters problem. He advertised it as compatible and it was. Ford modified it with new bolts, and now doesn't work anymore. Lasfit bulbs worked until they didn't. Good thing with them is they came up with a new bulb that will now work with Fords update. Probably didn't have to, but they did. Good for them. Are they free? Some on here got them for free and some are paying a few bucks. I got my new ones for 50% off. I'm ok with that. They went through the trouble to work on a fix. Ford? My guess is they just don't give a shit. My local dealer tried his best to make things work, they are good folks over there. IF he had a Forscan he could have fixed the issue. Ford will not allow him to use a Forscan, he said the company did not want anyone tinkering with emissions and other "things". I spent 21 years in the Army. I had a company of 250 or so folks. We got things done and yes, we cheated a bit here and there. The mission is critical and has to be supported. Corporate America has an issue with get things done, and done correctly. Onne good point I do agree with you on is if Lasfit is STILL advertising the older LED's as compatible, they should be pulling those out of the stock and sending buyers the new ones that do (now) work. I would hope that is what is happening. I do feel they were blindsided by that update. As we all were.

Add me to the list!
LasFit LEDs worked fine before the update. Dash will hyperflash but LEDs flash normally.

Don’t be surprised if the dealer doesn’t agree to disable the outage indication for you. Technically they are mandated safety features, hence the recall
They did it. The tech even ran home to grab the program b/c the dealership didn't have it. All good now and I'd much rather not have hyperflashing & brighter lights than to maybe one day 10 years down the line have a warning

All, I have successfully found all the settings in the BCM to change to eliminate hyper flashing. I have all first gen Lasfit LEDs including switchback turn signals, reverse lights, rear braking and turn signal lights, and third brake lights.

See the photo below.

Under BCM you can filter to “outage” to get them all in one place. I did them one at a time but in total there should be around 4 or 5 to disable.

Note: the screenshot is just the BCM filtered to the word “outage” I did not change all of these settings that are shown.

Edit: highlighted in yellow

I can confirm this works. I have a Lariat and the original LASFIT bulbs, and there have been a few posters on here that indicated they only had the front LASFIT bulbs and post Ford Recall never had hyperflashing in cab...so made me rule out the fronts. So all I disabled was the bottom 4 highlighted (in the attached photo). I was debating not doing the last 2 (rear led turn outage liftgate, and rear stop bulb...aka I believe top mounted bulb..) but figured seeing I changed them all to LEDs, to disable them at least for now. Also I wasnt sure what "LED turn outage liftgate" actually meant...anyone have an idea?

My plan is when LASFIT has bulbs that are updated (hopefully) that work with the Mavericks post recall and Lariat (being different socket I guess), I will purchase the new LEDs and then turn the bottom 4 back on via Forscan...aka the reverse of what I just did this morning. Took me all of 10min to do, mainly because I am a big noob when it comes to forscan.

But otherwise this does indeed work post recall and stops the hyperflash in cab.

I did the same as you, works perfectly!

I did reach out to Lasfit and waiting for a response. Like most of us, I'm past the one year warranty period. Hopefully Lasfit will help us out.

If any of you have the LASFIT bulbs and are experiencing hyperflashing on your dash after the recall update, I only had to disable REAR STOP BULB OUTAGE in the BCM Module to eliminate the Hyperflashing. I will keep it this way until a better fix is available.

I had the original Lasfit lED's and yes I did get the hyper flash on the dash signals. (actual turn signals flashed normal). I contacted Lasfit a week ago and Vichan, whom I spoke with did not give me the new bulbs for free, but did discount 50%, costing me $62 bucks. Installed them yesterday and everything works like new. No flashing of any kind, although he did say (and they did) the bulbs might hyper flash a few seconds on the initial install until they find their "happy place". I also had to change one bulb around 180 degrees in the socket as it initially did not light up. These are the newest "T3" Led's and after two days driving around, no problems.. I did take on bulb out and turned on that turn signal to mimic a bulb outage and DID get the hyper flash as it was notifying me of the outage. Plugged bulb back in socket and everything returned to normal. Bottom line: All is well and problem solved for the $62 bucks of the T# bulbs. Until of course Ford has some other recall coming. I used to run a small part time computer/software company out of my home many years ago. Should have followed my own advice I gave others concerning Microsoft/Windows updates. NEVER do them right away. Give it a few weeks so the beta testers (the public) can test it all out. Will NOT be doing ANY Ford updates or recalls until time shows they are safe and viable. Extreme circumstance's like maybe the wheels fall off in a couple miles or something similar may be an exception to my rule. YMMV.

Run cooler???the heat will be moved from the filament which uses less electricity to the resistor which heats up using the electricity that was moved. The over all amount of electricity has to remain close enough to what was OEM measured amount. The resistor after a period of time it will heat up whether 1 or 2 or 6 or what ever amount of minutes the resistance will drift causing the amount of electricity used to be different. At some point the hyper flash will return to indicate an out of range use. Perhaps the resistor should be a variable resistor which could change the resistance based upon the measured current flow in the circuit?
Maybe "run cooler" was not the best choice of words. I meant the bulbs do not heat up as opposed to halogen or incandescents

The hyper blink on dash is notice to driver that an anomaly has been detected which needs to be checked out. Everything needs to be checked out and if working perhaps the hyperlink can be reset, I don't know procedure if it exists but would expect it could.

Just going to note that talks with Lasfit have said the New T3 bulbs may also have hyperflash issues with the Lariat trim.
