I recall the small bag with the pigtail in it, but did not open it up or anything. I will check mine when I leave work, and appreciate the reply. Now I know where to look.
How was your gas mileage for the trip? Im looking to get a camper (eventually) which wont be as heavy, but similar for aerodynamic purposes...and have been watching other posters with towing, but yours seems to be....slightly....heavier than most others.. ;)
Just a heads up in case this hasnt been posted yet. Another MASSIVE Recall to hit our Mavericks. This time with the brand new 2024s.... Idk how much more Ford can take from all these recalls....
...and yes that was sarcasm.
Looks like....a whopping.... 9 .... vehicles are affected...
I understand what you are saying, but what do you feel your solution would be? constantly get a new vehicle every year..because then there is the issue about how brand new vehicles can have issues with them as well. Look at the first gen mavericks. or you can get a used car, but then you dont...
I would love to know if thats the real change that will be applied. I tried reading it and maybe not looking at the same information you are, but did it state the 95% charge instead of 80% in it anywhere? Because I personally changed my setting to 90% and my start/stop still hasnt returned to...
to make a point from the other side...to be fair...we have no idea your driving habits. If lets say you "ride the brakes" or drive in a way that eats through brakes, I would say it COULD be possible that you need brake service done....but I am leaning towards highly UNLIKELY that the service is...
Im happy that Ford is actually having Mavericks in more and more commercials. They are still (in my eyes/knowledge) a hot vehicle and why has it taken this long before Ford has started using them more frequently...ugh.
I am aware of the fact there are posts and such on here with people having problems, but a handful does not mean everyone. I have no issues with mine...and seeing we do not know how many they have sold, 1% failure rate seems normal to me...5% seems within reason....10%or more...thats getting...
There is a small chance maybe they gave the wrong bulbs and or the bulbs are defective. If you can look at the bulbs do they have the yellowish/white diodes on the bulb at all? Because those might be the switchbacks then....which should not work on the Lariat. Only the amber ones will...so there...
I agree with you, that if mine go bad, put the stock bulbs back in...but I would wait until another company creates a better bulb that works with no problems (possibly lasfit if they make one that works before others do)...and put LEDs back in... but I attempted to put the stock (rear) bulbs...

Currently ~6000 miles
Apx 1k miles/month but been taking it easy with the new vehicle. Will be putting more miles on it soon with spring/summer coming. New vehicle in Wisco winters, did not want to take it out often with salt/slush and speed up the...
I was about to have my jaw hit the floor and ask how (without being a hybrid) so that I could use similar tactics. I am not trying to be a "hyper-miler" but if simple things increased it that much, I would have been all over that. But then realize the April fools comments. (and yes I know about...
Looks great. Im glad my post was able to help you! I will have to look into the Diode company. Only started hearing about them since I joined MTC and as of the last few months more frequently. I have been a big fan of Morimoto but they still dont have anything for the Maverick but the 3rd brake...
I have been experiencing something similar since I got it in Oct 23. to my understanding its a good chance the battery is fine, but isnt charging it enough with everyday driving to get it above its settings where the auto start/stop resumes. The first month or so I had my Maverick it would turn...
Thats what I am assuming. Its a refresh, so slight changes everywhere. I assume the current styling design around the Ford logo on the front grill that leads on/over the headlights is changed for the 25. in which would mean the front bumper is now a different shape/design which leads into the...
I am hoping that they did not change the front end at all...that the bumper and lights are the same size/shape. That way if it turns out I like the headlights of the 25... I can hopefully find a pair and swap in the new style and hope that it ends up being plug/play. I dont have any issues...
Has there been any update on the progress of LEDs that will work with the Lariat yet? I am very interested in getting them if/when they are available, but just looking to see if there is a time frame...or a window when you hope they will be ready by.... IE...2 months...6 months...1 year...?
