I just had the recall update done yesterday and now have hyper flash on the dash, but turn signals are normal on the truck. No issues with Lasfits causing hyper flash prior to the update.
Hopefully some fix in the future.
I am in the same boat as you. Not the end of the world but definitely annoying

Just returned from Ford dealer I bought truck at. They allowed me to watch while they hooked up their laptop and worked on the issue. Very nice folks there! Made some adjustments to try and "turn off" the turn signal outage indication, but it does not stick. Tried a different computer program on a different laptop, still no luck. Sorry, I did not get the names of those programs, but was not Forscan. Suggested a guy here in Boise who used to work for them and now runs a private mechanic shop. Called him up and he does have Forscan, but not an updated version. Said when he worked for Ford he was the guy who helped fix the same turn signal issue on the F-150 a few years back. They ended up just wiring in the resistors. He says best to just wait until Ford comes out with an update to fix the problem that they caused. The only fix for now is to put the factory bulbs back in or just put up with the "click clack" blinkety blinkety X 100. Question and /or experiment: What if one were to wire in a factory bulb on each of the rear lights? Would that simulate enough draw on the system to fool the program into thinking the bulbs are fine? As slow as Ford is, might be a year or two before we see a factory fix. I do intend to send correspondence to Ford concerning this issue, as we all should. As an ex-mechanic: "The squeaky wheel gets the grease".

Got the “lights” recall letter. Then only yesterday, got call from dealer, asking if we got the recall. They said will send mobile tech to my home to flash the hardware. He came and 30 minutes later, done. BUT he emphasized the refash impacts the TPMS, and he did not have his “wheel clicker”. The tire pressure monitoring display was blank, no numbers displayed. Asked where nearest Ford dealer is, saying I could get it done there, or failing that he could return after the weekend. I visited the Ford dealership this morning, and they gladly reset the TPMS. However, as I was driving to them, I check the TPMS display, seeing some numbers, all reading 37 psi. I watched to see if any change. One wheel jumped to 38. Not if registering right, I went to dealership nevertheless to ensure proper operation.

i watched the tech do the reset…he first pushed the flasher warning switch on the dash 5 times. Then did the clicker walk around each wheel till the horn tweets. Then the display read Learning Completed.

i be checking the lights in next coming days.

Lots of anger in these posts, probably because people spend too much money on incompatible LEDs.

It’s pretty clear what has happened:
The Ford update enables a more precise current measurement to enable detection of both 1 bulb and 2 bulb failures of the factory incandescent bulbs. In a nod to safety, the lights continue to flash normally whilst the IP indicator flashes quickly to emulate the old style bimetallic flashers people are used to seeing as a warning of bulb failure. This is a NHTSA safety improvement, not a new introduced fault. It will not be changed back.

The problem is all these backyard LED importers are always behind the automotive technology curve and inevitably introduce incompatible lights. Fixing them with resistors that match the different manufacturers current detection algorithms is an ongoing game.

We could lament that Ford doesn’t switch to all LED exterior lighting, especially on the Lariat, but this isn’t going to happen on the low end vehicles. But high Fords do have all LED lighting, so there are module configuration settings for LEDs that should be available in Forscan. But now you have a non original configuration and aftermarket LEDs will have to match the characteristics of the factory LEDs to be sure it works properly. More fun for the backyard importers.

At the end of the day, if you want to modify the factory lighting configuration then you assume all the issues, whether it is module configuration or LED technical compatibility. Thats fine, lots of people with appropriate knowledge do it successfully. But listening to flakey LED importers with bling bulbs and flashy advertising tell you it is a Ford problem is just being naive. Caveat Emptor.

Didn't the OP use Lasfit brand? I've had no issues with my LASFIT replacements. Maybe he didn't get the ones with the built in resistance or perhaps as others have mentioned, they weren't seated completely.

I am having Ford Mobile service come to my home Monday to update the turn signal recall to my 2022 Maverick with Lasfit led bulbs installed in the rear tail lights. Does the hyperflash on the dash also cause the audible ticking sound to also speed up?

Yes, the signal on the dash as well as the audible sounds is much faster. Annoying, but not enough to switch the bulbs back to factory bulbs.

I feel sorry for Lastfit......
They are going to get some grief over this....
Also, if I had LED bulbs I simply wouldn't get that recall.

Geeze = the logical reason the LEDs that did not cause the hyper flash before but now are will just need the resistor changed to one that provides the correct resistance for the new allowed resistance range for the halogen bulb. (The first allowed must not have caught problems in some standard bulbs). I remember seeing in a post someone made of chart of the settings where bulb type was on the list. What ever circuit it was on would imply the possibility that maybe all bulbs on at that list would have to be of that same type. (?)

RE tire pressure. Put 35.3 lbs in one tire, 35.5 in one , 35.7 in one and 35.9 in one. Get in truck and get on highway with tire pressure screen active and watch the tires pressure climb one at a time to 36 then to 37. The trucks display may round to nearest psi so 35.7 and or 35.9 may show 36 to start with. I regularly see 1-2 lbs pressure increase while driving. The tires are relatively small and lightweight and apparently heat up rapidly I carry a 18v Ryobi tire pump with a digital display which measure pressure in tenths of a pound.
Also air your tires to pressure after an hour or two after driving to let them cool down to ambient temp then air them to whatever pressure you want them making about 1 pound different for every 12°F you want them that pressure at. If you pressure them at 70°F then the next am if temp is 36°F cooler the tires will be around 3lbs less pressure. One of the main reasons tires wear quicker than mfg wear rating. I will check my pressure screen before rolling in am to see if tires need my attention. Luv that screen wish it had a seven second popup at startup.

Thanks for the info. Know exactly what you mean. I did RV travels for 12 yrs and had TPMS. Watched the monitor closely, for both pressure and temperature. Amazed of the changes, of hot and cold days, shady vs sunny sides, roads types, and wet vs dry roads. My F250 had a dumb TPMS, just get alarm, then needed to pull out tire pressure gauge. Glad the Maverick has “real time“ individual tire pressure readouts.

Would also be nice to have fleet TPMS (coming for all, but when? ) Pressure, Temp, Tread remaining, etc.

I have a gut feeling that Ford is not gonna extend any effort in making a change to their update. If it works correctly in the factory configuration but not for lastfit or whatever bulb manufacturer, their stance will be that's on the owner and/or aftermarket bulb manufacturer. Just my guess....
