I have never used steam, i have always sprayed heavy soapy water and let set for an hour then hose down, it cleans it right upDon't do it, it's worthless
Don't use water.
Steam? Then do it
I doubt that because then u could not drive in the rain even though there is a shield on the bottom but thanks for your opinionDon't use direct water from a hose, it will damage all the electronics
I've driven in the rain in every car I've had. Until the Mav none had undershields of any size, maybe a wrap under bumper going under the radiator at most.I doubt that because then u could not drive in the rain even though there is a shield on the bottom but thanks for your opinion
You are correct. I'm surprised by how clean the engine bay stays in the Maverick. That being said, I guess you could say I'm part OCD, and I like keeping my Maverick as much showroom clean as possible. Why do you need to clean the engine bay? The engine and transmission on this vehicle stay very clean with the shield underneath and the shutters in the front.
Mine is just over a year old, and every time I open the hood, it still looks brand new! Of course I have a garage to park in and use one of those aerosol dusters every so often. (I know, Anal and OCD.)Why do you need to clean the engine bay? The engine and transmission on this vehicle stay very clean with the shield underneath and the shutters in the front.
